Paladin's aren't MEANT to aoe heal. And Holy Radiance heals as much as a druids hots do. What people don't realize is Holy Radiance heals for that 1.7-2k PER SECOND, not per THREE SECONDS like a druids hots do, but PER SECOND.

That's 5-6k per 3 hots on the ANYONE in range, which is just as powerful as a druids hots in Cata, except it covers anyone and everyone within 20 yards, every 30 seconds, for 10 seconds.

@shinoownage They had LK Heroic 25 and Halion Heroic 25 killed LONG before you, so yes, that does make them better than you. If you were on equal grounds you would have killed them at the same time, or be in the same guild.

@shinoownage As long as they get the job done, it doesn't matter how they turn or whether they click/keybind. If he/she is doing better then you, while clicking, then just imagine how much better than you they would be if they keybind.

As for running away from the boss @ 2%. It's a common tactic, and I wouldn't be surprised if their raid leader called it on vent. The boss was at an extremely low hp, and you'll notice the other dps also spread out to extreme distances.

@shinoownage Actually, if you had payed attention to the video, it looks like the boss has a similar phase/ability like Marrowgar's bonestorm, in which he does a whirlwind and targets differen't people periodically. So running away gave them the most time to put dps onto the boss. A holy paladins dps would have made minimal difference, and as Diamond said, he/she bubbled a dps and kept healing the spriest that got the killing blow.

@shinoownage This just proves that you don't know what you're talking about. If you had actually WATCHED the video, you would have seen it heal for 2k crits per tick, and 1.5 non-crits per tick. Also it has a limited range, and if all the dps had been within that range, they would not have survived. At 80-90k hp, 2k hots aren't exactly going to save your life. Increasing the distance the boss has to travel, does.

@shinoownage Just because their names on the Beta aren't the same as they are on live, means nothing. Paragon aren't going to take just ANYONE on the beta, of course they would take the best. And who cares what most of the people who record do. The fact is, this paladin is better then you, WHILE they click and keyboard turn, so how much better then you would they be if they used keybinds and mouse turning?

@shinoownage This way, the boss has a LOT further to travel each time another DPS dies, and they don't all die at once. The paladin ran back to the door so that it would have the furthest to travel to get to him/her, and you'll notice the boss actually does target him/her just before going into stone phase.

If the dps hadn't split and spread like that, I would guess that would have been a wipe.

@jamieovcymmer FoL is viable as a fast burst heal mate, but it is expensive. HL is the better "throughput" and is one of the cheapest spells we have.

Btw, nice kill, but I saw Holy Radiance and Light of Dawn available before group 2 and 3 were dead! Should've used it man :D Thanks for the content update though, it's looking good can't wait to try it with my Paladin.
