  • Oh Congressman we all know that you work side by side with the business bastards on "wall street" America is no longer control by the government. It now controlled by the wealthy and corporate bastards

  • The funny thing is across middle america, many many poor people don't like the wall street movement. They've been watching too much fox and think that people should stop expecting free handouts and start working. Beleive me many poor or middle class people in america support corporations as crazy as it might sound.

  • That what Ron Paul is all about !!!

  • @SpetsnazH Yeah, Ron Paul's great. Unless you're sick, homeless, or disabled.

  • The purpose of the federal government is to serve and protect the people. This is the only legitimate reason for its existence.

  • @nickn101 typical liberal. Can't have any rational argument. Go smoke some more weed.

  • You guys are stupid:

Zeina Awad: London School of Economics in November 2003. This is almost equivalent to Harvard Business School in the UK.

What a hypocrite lecturing about the ivy league. Typical liberal mainstream bullshit.

Jealousy always brings the worst out of people. Sorry you weren't smart enough to get into Harvard. Now go back onto the streets and beg for a handout, while recording it on your chinese made smartphone / shoes.

  • @eurovisionacts actually you are stupid

  • @jd007200

    Adios! :)

  • "You need to work hard to make it, because anybody can get rich in America. "

    >> Joins father's company.

  • Comment removed

  • It's not so much the rich, it's the government that's sinking money.

  • This is an awesome documentary. Showing both sides.:) I'm on the side of "More money, begets more money." :)

  • @MrRossT1 We all love, that more money begets more money,

but today, you got those wealthy, that can choose to opt out of the American work force

and move their business to a country, where you avoid paying taxes, you use cheap labor and you create same products just much cheaper.and then you try to sell it to Americans. this is Capitalism without any morale responsibility, and very short term solution. what u gonna do when Americans cant afford to buy ur products ?

  • @izaccy

Cross that bridge when we get there.:) The market will dictate what products will be produced. If people are unable to purchase the product(s) other products will be made. How many people are able to purchase Lamborghinis? Very few are willing or able to purchase a $375 000 car. Yet they are still being made! :) In India an engineer has made a $25 laptop! Products are there to be improved upon. Faster, better, cheaper.:) That's how you get rich. Solve mass problems. :)

  • Money is a concept that requires 2 or more parties to validate its worth. Same as debt. Only when 2 or more parties validate its worth can it be considered significant. I can have all the money in the world, yet still, I require a second party to validate its worth.

  • @izaccy Sell in India and China, by then economy would probably double

  • @invisibleisolation You're so full of shit. What a few republicans were proposing was to not extend the payroll tax cut which if extended would further deprive social security of much-needed funding. You have no idea how fucked up britain is. They did your favoured "tax-the-rich" policy and implemented the 50p tax which led to massive capital flight. Britain's economy is now on the ropes...Maybe you shouldnt have majored in underwater basketweaving and you be making more...

  • The hatred of poor people by some here is disgusting.

  • This video is painfully blatant bias. Please do not try to portray people who do not agree with your view as evil.

  • 11:39. God, these fuckers look soulless. All of them. Obama, Cantor, ALL of them.

  • F'in Bush 3.7 trillion spent on Iraq/Afghanistan/war on terror and 1.7 trillion tax cut for his rich mummies.

  • Brilliant journalism.

  • i think for the sake of conflict of interest...if you are invested into a corporation, or have anything to do with it....you should not be allowed to turn for office, because specific government interests also takes great part in fucking our economy up

  • i make 50 grand a year I'm now considered The working poor...(sad)

  • @He101A i think it's more important to get money out of politics than have shorter term limits.

  • @slytherinspy1960 Absolutely. When politicians can easily just buy elections, having elections more often won't solve anything, it'll make it worse.

  • @He101A agreed and i think most americans agree too. 9% approval rating for congress. i wonder what universe those people live in.

  • Its amazing to me that in this day of age we as americans are still fighting the communist. We keep having to revisit this issue every time some kid attends college and is taught the theories of Karl Marx. I say if you what to be apart of a distributed wealth system why don't you move to Russia for a year and really see if Karl was right? We can study history why can't we not learn from it ? God bless America.

  • @jason2youtuification You need an education Karl Marx died over 40 years before Soviet Union was established and there was NO socialism in SU after March 1921 the dictatorship wiped it out with armed force. USSR was NO more the society of Marx than Wall Street is the living work of Adam Smith, who lived even further before its inception.

  • @He101A yeah they pay incomes taxes but income taxes aren't ALL taxes. 44% of taxes are income which affect the rich the most but what are the other taxes? payroll taxes which affect who the most? you guessed it. the middle class. also sales taxes affect the poor the most. so when you look at taxes you must look at all taxes and not just income taxes. also i was talking about how corporations fund the campaigns. 93% of those that had the most money won in the 2008 elections. not a good sign.

  • @He101A I think a sign that I saw at OWS says it all "I don't mind you being rich. I mind you buying my government." No one blames people for being wealthy. People are frustrated because the only people with a voice are the ones that can buy one.

  • 23:55 "The people to whom class matters most"

I'd say people like Paul Ryan are far more class concious than those protesters. The budget policy he engineered had real social consequences. (increase private wealth, cut welfare) The protesters in comparison are demanding basic human rights.

  • I mean, "Yea, Capitalism!"

  • Don't you guys realize that's its the rich people who hand us down jobs?

We are now unemployed and economically discouraged b/c our wealthy masters got greedy (again), gambled with OUR money, lost big time, got nervous, got bailed out, contradicted capitalist ideology, and passed laws to protect themselves.

    Wouldn't you do the same?

  • She said "Let them eat cake.".

  • sooo dope beeing in the top 1%XD

  • Social uprising!

If plans follow thru I will be at occupy boston on Sunday and I'm gonna join in the protest for the day

  • Keep spouting this nonsense and we'll see just how far you get in 2012.

  • "One day we will have to stand before the God of history and we will talk in terms of things we’ve done. It seems that I can hear the God of history saying, 'That was not enough! But I was hungry, and ye fed me not. I was naked, and ye clothed me not. I was devoid of a decent sanitary house to live in, and ye provided no shelter for me! And consequently, you cannot enter the kingdom of greatness! If ye do it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye do it unto me.' " - MLK Jr.

  • As a Muslim and a humanist I would like to say: "Soon the poor will have nothing to eat but the rich. " O Allah, may the poor rise up and thrash the rich out of their roots like they did in Egypt. Amen.

  • @Inoitspointless they are bored.. now they got money now they want all the power and kill everyone and they want MOOOOOOAAAAR

  • i support democratic capitalism... where workers and bosses make decisions by voting and democratic principles.

  • How much is Harvard tuition? Because I struggle paying for my state university tuition.

  • giving money to the poor will not solve their problems...they will end up right where they started

  • @shadowromeo22 sorry for the thumbs down, i reread your statement and i would like to know why you say that before i pass judgement.

  • @equalityrules33 i will since you are probably the only one who stopped to think, most would have already passed judgement...well, it's a very simple concept: "Give fish to the poor and you've fed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you've fed him for lifetime" What's the point in giving a thousand dollars to a beggar if he doesn't know how to manage properly that money, he will only comeback and beg for more....

  • @equalityrules33 Teach the beggar how to take money and make more so he is able to take care of himself and you have liberated a beggar out of poverty. I'm not against helping the poor, im against giving them a check every month. It's a waste of money! take all that money to educate this people on how to manage it properly and i can guarantee you he will not be in that situation again

  • What we have in this country now, is Capitalism WITHOUT Honor!

  • DEATH TO THE RICH.

  • @TheSpeckofdust The bubbles were caused by deregulating the banks, not Indian immigrants.

  • First off the US is a republic, not a democracy; check wikipedia if you need clarification. Secondly, you obviously support how the rich acquired their wealth because you are using products they created to bash them, such as a computer, maybe a phone, youtube, internet provider, etc (these are creations of people who are now wealthy). If you want the wealth to be more equally distributed then quit supporting them with your purchases and actions.

  • @shazzbot007 true, but the corporate fraud raped the system so hard it took the rest of the economy down with it when it collapsed.

  • When there's a huge economic disparity, socialism comes, that's just how it is.

I mean Russian royal families had gold plated roofs while peasants lived in mud... Until peasants got pissed off...

I know there is the whole socialism is taboo in USA, but that won't stop people getting pissed off... I know that Americans don't live in mud, but you can only make ends meet for so long...

  • This piece was very well done and shame on Ryan for slamming that door against her. She should feel proud of herself. She did some brave asking of some real questions..

Anyone watching this video, pay attention to what the conservative representatives saying or more important what they don't say..

  • What the fuck is going on. I just hope I can afford food and cigarettes in the future. That's all I really care about. Everything is interesting.

  • i fail to understand the Harvard graduate's logic. When he gives ten percent of his wealth back to society, he is not giving it to "entitlement" programs (whcih are actually earned benefit programs, not entitlements), he is giving it to bolster the infrastructure that created his wealth. His phone app would be absolutely worthless without that infrastructure, but apparently he is too stupid or stuck in his ideology to make that connection. Very sad.

  • @tegrat Was thinking that this guy is an idiot and a product of the Ivy League keynesian teachings.

  • @tegrat Absolutely !! These people think jet planes and internet were invented by Wall Street. In USA, France, Japan throughout 20C all the big inovations started with public money in public university labs.

  • of coruse there are things that would make them less poor for example grow some fucking vegetables on the roof or in the garden with the money you save you could buy more important things like new clothes for the children and healthcare. well it isnt easy and people are to lazy and worried about other things before they think about doing it .

  • Did anyone else spot the big camel toe? The video was worth watching just for those 4 sec.

  • @minnhockey9 She's neither indi nor brit you fucktard, she's arabic. Fuck off and spread your ass-cheeks for the rich bastards whom you so admire.

  • So...wouldnt a very large group be bale to over power the very small group..in say... a revolt?... just sayin...

  • Not harsh enough toward failing aristocracy. Diluted and weak.

  • Well, I'm fucked.

  • @Inoitspointless That's okay. I should have known. I am humbly sorry. Keep on fighting. "Friendly fire", lol, no offence taken!

  • @Inoitspointless Go tell that motherfucker, the pilot douche, not to fucking flip out!

  • Not once did that boy explain how that wealth will trickle down to us. That is why I always tell kids, "Don't go to school. The only time you are taken seriously if you got a degree and a diploma is if you went to an Ivy League school."

  • These people on here with the partisan shit need to stop! They are both against us. As one poster here said, corps tend to give their money to BOTH sides in an election. It is true. I have seen it myself with McCain and Obama.

I like what they said at the get go: "All the money goes to an elite few that also controls the country's gov.'t" - Just like a banana republic. So true, so true. Not to offend Mexicans, but we are going to start looking alot like Mexico and other poor countries very soon

  • JUST 1 GUY, Bill Gates owns a nice part of that 40 % of the wealth, but hey... you're now using an Operative System ( O.S. :P ) and adobe and even PCs made by him and his team :D

  • Adobe is not from Microsoft

  • @MichaelSephiroth Hypocrite!!!

  • clearly, the reporter should be doing this topless.

  • @AnEarthPilot And I'm willing to bet you hold her to whore/ virgin complex, double standards? If she were to get raped being topless, you'd blame her. Boy, westerners I tell ya. You want to sit up here and point fingers at others but you can't point it at yourself. Yeah, you call others barbaric yet you all "allow" your womyn to dress up and wear scantily clothes but call them skanks, whores, trollops, loose womyn and womyn deserving of rape ie asking for it for dressing as you want em.

  • @HappyHooker83 Nope... none of that stuff, really... don't care who she bones, or what she thinks of herself... just bet she's got a great rack. You might want to lay off the Angry Brand Cola.

  • @wtfjaftw The Free Market has never done a better job in history. Point out one instance that it has? Hoover cut taxes to the rich and corporations, he allowed speculation and made the same arguments Conservatives make today. It didn't work and we needed the New Deal to get out of the situation. We need something similar today. The government needs to create jobs, we need the consumer to have money to spend, thats what creates job. The Free Market solution didn't work in the 1890s, 1920s, 1980s.

  • @wtfjaftw Ron Paul is a fraud. The majority of the people in the United States do not want a hard right libertarian as president. That is the reality of the situation. Nobody knows who he is because Ron Pauls ideas are way to radical for most people. He talks about legalizing drugs and ending the wars, he doesn't talk about the fact that he doesn't favor taxing corporations at all. RP supporters make everything a big conspiracy, because they have convinced themselves that Ron Paul is infallible.

  • @wtfjaftw In late 2010 the stimulus (much of that was tax cuts by the way) ran out. O caved in & extended Bush top rate tax cuts. No stimulus, extended cuts in early 2011, what happened? Unemployment went up. End welfare? Welfare to citizens is about 1% of GDP. GE paid no tax & exported more jobs last year than created here and got 3.2 billion in corporate welfare. Market socialism is why each year 1 trillion shifts from the bottom 99% to the top 1%. The top 1% thanks you for fighting for them.

  • @markdown01 We need to let our politicians know that we will not accept hostage taking to pass radical agendas. The GOP threatened to cut the payroll tax for the middle class if they did not get bush tax cuts. They threatened to cut education spending and unemployment if they didn't get something for their employers (big business and the rich). We need to support those who are fighting against this bullshit. I think America is finally realizing who owns the GOP and part of the Dems (its not us)

  • @815Sox Excactly. What you call for is a pro-American, patriotic, 'We The People', focus. We are supposed to be represented by those politicians, but they don't work for us. Each one has, what, 5 lobbyists? Bribing them to defy the will of the people. So-called 'American patriots' calling for further tax cuts for the rich, and ending regulations to let them poison us (we the people) are nothing of the sort. They are being controlled.

  • @wtfjaftw Recent history. Yes it was lower before Wilson. Know what? JP Morgan controlled 90% of US commerce before Roosevelt's anti-trust laws. Robber barrons of the late 1800s time you love so much paid almost no taxes. There were no progressive taxes, so the lower income groups were unfairly impacted by what taxes were there. I am against Wilson's caving to the bankers to create the Federal Reserve. We had a bad economy before 'govt stimulus'. During the stimulus 2 million jobs were created.

  • Sachs is a vile opportunist concerned with nothing but himself. He has wrought untold suffering throughout the world with his self serving advocacy of destructive economic policies. He and most of his colleagues should be nowhere but the unemployment office, if not the hangman's noose.

  • Workers were forced to compete with low wage Mexican then Chinese labour due to intentional government policy. These same policies also provide protectionism for the professional & upper classes. See Dean Baker's "The Conservative Nanny State"

  • only in nyc ----bloody commies

  • America is broke and broken!!

  • Having worked for and with people who create $50M companies, they have got up early and taken enormous risks. Many lose their homes and marriages. You see the success stories. Take a job, do something in your spare time just like the top company founders did. The country is "unequal" because the wealth at the top is far more than any other country but the GDP per person is also way higher than China or India. Al Jazeera is run by anti- Americans. Wake up America. These Marxists are skewing data.

  • @Chilililabombwe Al Jazeera is the arabic equivalent of MSNBC

  • @Chilililabombwe You are an idiot. AJE is the finest channel on the planet. There is NOT a single tinge of anti-Americanism whatever that is in thisn doc. Far from it this doc like all AJE docs is very polite and respectful. You no doubt watch FOX now there is a bastion of

civility and informed journalism no one ever altered fact on FOX...the bloody mind boggles.!!

  • @anarchosolar You are crazy. Al Jazeera is filled with numerous lies and distortions in their documentaries. America is always portrayed as bad and evil...

  • @shotsky94

wrong. its practically cheered US troops in afghanistan

  • @Misterphooey Bullshit. Did you watch their documentary/debate yesterday on the show "Empire". Blatant anti-americanism. Its so unbelievable. Its nothing more than radical muslim propaganda. They have been supporting all the islamist uprisings all over the middle east. Their anti-israel bias is also plain in the open....

  • @shotsky94

nope, not bullshit. See People and Power, Blood and Dust and End Game. you're just such a hysterical right winger, any criticism of the US constitutes "anti americanism" And its clear you have no fucking clue what radical Islam is. here's a hint:its opposed to democracy and modernity.

  • @Misterphooey Yes. They supported the islamist uprisings. Hysterical? No. Aware? Hell yeah. AlJazeera is a biased news station. That's a fact. Just go back to their coverage of the gaza conflict. It was absolutely awful. And it wasn't just mere criticism of the US. It was a documentary about how America is in decline and why that is good for Americans. Look for it online. i'm sure you could find it somewhere...

  • Lame music they've put in the background.

  • Harvard Business School believes in merit. It believes that individuals must provide for themselves strictly by the fruit of their labor and the size of such fruit depends strictly on merit. It believes that government should not receive any of the fruit of ones labor and that it must not provide services.

But, once having set the goal, they walk away from it not having constructed a method to achieve it. And, how could they do otherwise when merit is an entirely negotiable concept?

  • @nicethugbert

What merit is there in not working with others when it produces more for the individuals then when they work alone? What merit is there is in the current monetary system without the backing it was originally designed around(i.e. gold and silver standards)?

  • @nicethugbert

Without a standard on which to base money, what merit is there in taxation? Wouldn't it be more meritorious for the government to simply pay directly for the maintenance of the country's foundations rather than to distribute money into circulation by The Federal Reserve System then recoup the money via taxation to pay for national survival?

  • @nicethugbert Fine and dandy but then why are ritch firms funding campain contributions on both sides. No! Not giving, but buying fruits of their labor. Take for instance big 5 oil (who just so happen to own big five media) They lobby campain funds to keep clean energy out of the Federal contracts because if technology of hydroden power and solar power were implimented it would be the end of the parade. Then if it doesnt work main streat pays for it Bailout. Hey hey just good old equality huh!

  • @nicethugbert Really ? EXCEPT when their corrupt graduates have stolen so much that the entire world's economy is screwd then they hold out their hands and insist ordinary people with none of their elite benefits pay for the bailout of Harvard dickheads !!

  • Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

  • @hayden50 I am not advocating violence, but when people don't have money to eat or buy the necessities of life there will be violence. As I have heard this saying many times before and it's true. (when people lose everything, and have nothing to lose, they lose it). You see what's happening in the middle east, well the difference between them and the people of the united states is that, a lot more people have guns in the states. Keep that in mind. All I'm saying is hope for the best, but pr

  • I have no issue if someone gets rich producing something of value. I do have issues with people making billions on things like betting the house market will fail and then ensuring that it happens and then when they bet and lose they expect a bailout from the guys at the bottom. That is bullshit.

  • I'm sorry, there's no excuse to vote Republican. They are pure evil.

  • @filmmekker Republicans are on the outside what Democrats are on the inside. Take a look at their campaign contributors; they're almost identical. Some corporations even give money to both sides in a campaign. That's not because they support one candidate over another, that's purely to buy influence.

  • @filmmekker Democrats & Republicans are two sides of the same coin..Vote Ron Paul 2012....

  • @filmmekker This documentary points out that Obama isn't looking to upset Wall Street now by raising taxes on the rich, because he is looking for their campaign money. He may support raising taxes for the rich, but no one backs him up because the rich contribute greatly to both Democrats and Republicans in Congress. Think of it this way: Will they (all politicians) actually bite the hand that feeds them (the rich)? Why would they do that if it clearly spells the end of their money contributions?

  • well done

  • What a great job!

  • Well done! Great to watch! I will be passing it on.

  • I am rather suprised by the reporter's ability to maintain a completely straight face.

  • It easy to solve this problem as FDR did in the past. Make everyone pay high taxes and create more jobs. More jobs equal more taxpayers. More taxpayers mean more funding for the Government. Sorry, most businesses do not give a shit if people have jobs or not. They want to pile as much money as they can for themselves. Especially in tough economic times like this. Spending more do not really impact in the improvement of the economy because most of the moneys go to businesses "investing" account.

  • @Normacly The solution = a Flat Tax.....

  • @Normacly you need to read economics in one lesson by henry hazlitt.....would shatter your worldview

  • @shotsky94 Hoover thought almost the same thing too. Look how the country end up. Clinton was not famous because he raise taxes. Nevertheless, the US government maintain a surplus. While, Bush drew that down because of instead of rising the taxes to pay for the wars (Iraq was unnecessary). He cut it, especially for the top five percent. Look where the US government is now. Mind you that the government is responsible and pay for public school and safety. Not the businesses.

  • @Normacly please read the book.....hoover was laissez-faire predepression and hyper-interventionist when it hit....he increased govt spending 50%..........and the great depression by murray rothbard....which is another great book....

bush was a fucktard everyone knows that

the fed govt accounts for less than 7% of the money that goes to public schools.....most of it is gotten through state property taxes...

  • OBAMA IS A BRITISH AGENT AND IS DOING A GREAT JOB FOR THE OLIGARCHS TO RULE THE WORLD BY DESTROYING THE USA. THIS IS OBAMA'S OBJECTIVE. NOTICE ALL THE CHARMS AND DECEPTION. OBAMA SAYS ONE THING AND DOES ANOTHER. OBAMA IS SCARED OF LAROUCHE. A PUBLIC DEBATE BETWEEN LAROUCHE AND OBAMA WILL EXPOSE WHO IS THE REAL AND HONEST LEADER. OBAMA IS A FRAUD AND A VERY SMALL MAN. LAROUCHE IS A GREAT MAN LIKE FDR, JFK. GO TO THE LAROUCHE WEBSITE AND LEARN THE TRUTH. DO NOT BE DECEIVED ANYMORE. BE SMART.

  • SMALL BUSINESSES CAN NOT DO IT ALONE. MOM AND POP SHOPS CAN NOT DO IT ALONE. THIS VIDEO IS A FRAUD. THE REAL SOLUTION CAN BE FOUND IN THE LAROUCHE WEBSITE. THE ONLY VIABLE SOLUTION IS TO PUT BACK GLASS-STEGALL AND GET BACK THE STOLEN MONEY. PUT THE BANKERS AND CORRUPT POLITICIANS IN JAIL. CHECK OUT THE DETAILS OF THE LAROUCHE PLAN AS IT ADDRESSES ALL THE ISSUES INVOLVED TO REVERSE THE NEW DARK AGE.

  • THE BRITISH SYSTEM BASED ON THE FLOATING EXCHANGE RATE SYSTEM IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS. JOBS ARE NATURALLY OUTSOURCED BECAUSE THE LABOR COSTS ARE CHEAPER OVERSEAS. WHAT'S LEFT IS AN ECONOMY BASED ON BOOMS AND BUSTS BECAUSE IT IS MAINLY A CASINO TYPE GAMBLING CONTROLLED BY THE OLIGARCHY. GLOBAL GLASS-STEGALL AND THE LAROUCHE PLAN WILL END THIS NEW DARK AGE. A FIXED EXCHANGE RATE SYSTEM BASED ON THE AMERICAN SYSTEM. MANUFACTURING IS KEY TO ECONOMIC GROWTH. RETAIL/SERVICE IS NOT ENOUGH

  • Do they even read the story about "The Little Red Hen" in grade schools anymore? I'll bet not. I'll bet the lefties have never heard it.

  • Is Ryan's tax plan undemocratic? What if a bunch of fat people want more butter and believe the people with butter should give it to them. If the fat people want it, it's democratic to give it to them by that logic.

  • Those communism driven union thugs, damn them and their equal rights movement, their insistence on a 8 hour work day, and demand for overtime pay. This world would be so much better without them

    /end sarcasm

  • Lefties! I'll bet if your spouse charged all your credit cards to the limit, was giving large portions of your pay check to the neighbors because it made them feel good, kept getting your credit card limits raised in order to charge more, had spent all your retirement savings and then told you they had a plan to stop your approaching bankruptcy, and that plan was to spend more money, you would be ALL FOR IT RIGHT!!? That is EXACTLY what is happening to this country!

  • @leestauf Step one I would cut all of her non domestic spending to the neighbors (aka illegal foreign wars). Step two I would require her to to get a job and contribute money to help pay for the monetary mess she created (aka raise taxes). Then if I was out of cash you can be damned sure I would spend more money to put food on the table for my kids (aka not gutting social spending).

  • @aries8887 How about getting rid of the second or third car, the Winnebago, the cabin in the mountains, her HUGE selection of shoes and clothes. And why would you need to spend MORE than you were already spending if you cut back, when your already feeding your kids well on the present budget? If you got rid of all those completely unnecessary goodies the budget should go down, not up 8% every year as far as you can see! Your putting that debt on your children who you say you care so much about!

  • @leestauf

'Oi, America's 'Righties' are just as responsible for that too, ya know. Bush is just as responsible for the current debt troubles as Obama is. Bush also allowed the credit crunch to happen (it was predicted in 2001!) and spend a lot on wars. Obama more or less continued along the same lines. Both failed to take drastic measures.

  • @leestauf

To summerize: Bush cut all the pocket money for the spouse, forcing her to use credit cards whilst demanding that she kept on doing study and such. Then Obama came along and told her to invest in all sorts of stuff without giving her the pocket money she needed. The whole political system is fucked up.

  • Why is it that whenever you hear people talking about "income inequality" it's always the communism driven union thugs and their ignorant supporters who want everything the rich man has but either don't want to do anything to earn it or only want to do the level of work it takes to steal it from the rich man? If you want to be wealthy, work smart first, then work hard. Don't expect to be handed what isn't yours to have.

  • @OKKix

    That's propaganda for you.

  • @OKKix that's the problem with a lot of liberals these days, for most of them the "America Dream" is a gargantuan welfare state with cradle to grave entitlements....

  • "Capitalism and communism stand at opposite poles. Their essential difference is this: The communist seeing the rich man and his fine home says, “No man should have so much.” The capitalist seeing the same thing says, “All men should have as much.” " -- Phelps Adams (1903-1991) Chief Washington correspondent for The New York Sun (1928-50), adminstrative vice president for United States Steel (1950-67)

  • Marx was right! Yeah, I said it.

The people will not take this for much longer. Something is very wrong when a group of 100 people are wealthier than billions of people combined. This same group controls well over half of the money in this country. A large percentage of Americans have access to very very little. No way to better ourselves anymore, we are being sold BS.

"Job Creators" my ass... the consumer is what creates jobs, not some ultra rich asshole with his Republican thug buddies.

  • @815Sox No, you retard .Karl Marx was an ugly bearded man who's political philosophies centred themselves on the idea that the lazy should be able to leach off the hard working..

  • @hayden50 Actually no they weren't. You are just listening to too much Rush and Beck. Rightly or wrongly, Marx did not advocate "leaching off the hard working". He wanted to create a society in which everyone takes ownership of the means of production. This would create an equal society according to Marx. Marx also predicted that the income gap would continue to increase in a capitalist society, which it has. The top 400 richest people in the US control most of the wealth in the US.

  • @hayden50 But I am sure you are a multi-billionaire and are upset with this video because its pointing out the truth. I am sure it has nothing to do with you just making a blanket generalization only based on your privileged life experience. The only libertarians that I have met are suburban 20 year olds that have never struggled in their life and think that everyone who doesn't have lots of money is poor because they are "lazy".. even though they get all their money from their dad.

  • Republicans are economic hit men

  • Americans see Al Jazeera and immediately have a biased opinion about what they are seeing.

  • young people all over the world are fighting the old but rich generation....u see riots in England, Greece, Spain, Egypt, China, France........the fight will reach us all

  • @najbjergpoulsen wishful thinking, We Americans are armed to the teeth... Thanks God for the second Amendment. :)

  • Without the truth, there can be no real morality, justice, equality, success, freedom, love, security, peace, spirituality or even survival. If you are seeking the truth, search "Truth Contest" in Google, then open The Present on the homepage and read what it says.

  • When the narration began, "It's been two years since the recession *ended*..." one quickly deduced that there might not be a strong connection between this video and reality.

The second clue was its broadcast by Al-Jazeera.

  • @TheKimiAngel The narration was at the time simply stated the official claim the doc was not saying it was a fact but that is what the so called mainstream media was saying at the time this was made.

  • Why isn't this on every major news show in the US again? Oh wait...I think I remember...something about the media only being as free as their corporate overlords let them be.

  • @archangelrobriel aljazeera hates america....

  • Google: Zeitgeist: Moving Forward...inform yourselves, there is a movment!

  • @Mindthink1 Zeitgeist is a movie loved by conspirators, who claims 9/11 was an inside job, the moonlanding never happened, Elvis lives and USA are the root of all evil.widely panned by critis and laughed at by all serious scientist or expert, this movie is still popular, due to the fact than people are suckers for factually inaccuracy, presented as the truth.. btw, your zeitgeist revolution will be a mere fantacy :)
