Very nice for sharing. Good work. My 10 year old wants to be a game designer. He is self taught and home schooled. He has used many programs for creating video games and has taught himself along the way. I clearly understand what you were demonstrating and trying to share. People don't get it, but yes it is a great reason to be homeschooled. At 10 years old look what you have learned and taught yourself, and you have the freedom to do so!! Great Job!
OOOOOOH! Let's all bow down to you because you can make a little yellow convertible cross the street. clearly this means that homeschooling is FAR superior to real school.
Please divadm7 give us your definition of a SUPERIOR REAL SCHOOL ----
A school (from Greek σχολή (scholē), originally meaning "leisure", and also "that in which leisure is employed", "school"),[1] is an institution designed to allow and encourage students (or "pupils") to learn, under the supervision of teachers.
To learn - Learning is acquiring new knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, preferences or understanding, and may involve synthesizing different types of information.
While I applaud your copy and pasting skills, I have to say that your reading skills need some work. I didn't say that real school was superior (as a matter of fact, I sarcastically suggested that homeschooling was superior) Your definition of school doesn't help your argument at all. In fact, the phrase "under the supervision of teachers" suggests that homeschooling really shouldn't be called schooling at all, since there are no teachers present.
My reading skills are quite advanced. I understood your statements completely and your backhanded sarcasm (language intended to mock, wound, or subject to contempt or ridicule.). I do believe that "parents" count as "teachers" (Ie: teacher is a person who educates others.) Unless of course you learned to walk and talk from apes.
Perhaps you need to work on your comprehension skills. I do believe I asked a question, and now I'll ask another. What is "your" definition of a teacher?
