Not bad, one thing I would say to do though, move the background too with the typography, you will make it look SOOOO much better, rather than look like a power point. You can really easily make the background a seamless texture using photoshop, filter > offset, the clone stamp / heal brush the edge line to make it blend together. Grats, now you have a seamless texture you can use.

Adobe After Effects for the animation.

For the images, I simply searched on the net, you find tons of stuff. You have to tweak them a little afterwards (i.e. cut off background etc). You could do these operations in After Effects too, but sometimes you have to resort to Adobe Photoshop, finish up your image there and then import it into After Effects.

FYI, I made this video only 2 months after taking the first After Effects tutorial, so it's not that hard if you really make an effort to learn

This is perfect typography. I love how you remembered some things that a lot of people tend to forget when doing kinetic typography, such as generally just being creative with the text placement and background images. That alone makes it three times as interesting to watch for people like me.

"injun" is a corruption of "indian", mainly used by people in the South (such as Aldo Raine ;) ) It was very common in the wild west, but nowadays it's derogatory for Native Americans

@FreewheelinLibertine Well, It's somewhat hard to explain, but it's taking words, and when writing them. Relating them to the actions and emotions they portray, like when they said destroyed, the word was red, then exploded. Like destruction? You kinda get it?
