The difference is Haley acted it out she performed, and Jordan just sang it. Haley wins by a mile IMHO. Her performance gives you chills but also the arrangement was so much more dramatic.

They are completely different singers in style and they both took a different angle to the song. Like Gaga said, Haley went a bit psycho haha, and Jordin did it emotionally. They're both great! @llecomedies52 it didn't bother me, I was simply answering you're question for you. the reason sang broken wing twice, is because one of them was an Audience choice as well(same goes for the other 3 in the top 4) at the end of the competition the top finalists end up RE-singing 3 songs all together, (Their personal favorite, the audience choice and the judges choice). and yes they did sing THREE songs.

@marc1bb Simon was against her picking to sing this in the finale because it was too old fashioned for her. He wanted her to redo 'You'll Never Walk Alone' but she wanted to do this one. So she tried to lighten it up and she upscaled the note at 1:38.  But her original was more powerful.
