Hate to tell you Tag, but you're absolutely wrong. Christian metal is not an oxymoron. Metal is simply a form of music. Christians are called to go into the world and witness for Jesus. If we can get through to somebody using music, we will. Now, there are obviously some bands that condone church burnings and such. But that does not mean that all metal is inherently anti-Christian. That's ludicrous. So, metal is not necessarily for or against Christ. It's the musicians that make is that way.

Todays mainstream Christian pop/rock/metal bands all sound the same. We need a Christian band with "Lynyrd Skynyrd" sound or maybe an early "Electric Hellfire Club" type sound. Something different that goes against the grain... Something that does not sound like the same old stuff on rotation at the Christian radio stations...

you can not compare two different genres of music without being bias. there is no accuracy, mabe precision. This is like comparing fricken slayer to wolfgang mozart. Talent(of music) can only come to bounds when compared to someone else in the same genre. Nice try though. Pictures were pathetic. Mabe you could have used pictures pertaining to, Christian metal. Not that im choosing sides, but if beethoven was alive today he probably could put toget a metal set with ease. He was a musical genius, if he was alive today he would probably take over all forms of music. He'd out rap any rapper, throw the sickest raves, and shred the hell out of a guitar lol. Beethoven was metal for his time, and also the only person to break a chair over royalty's back and get away with it.
