The song that Frenchy "sings" - who's actually singing it? I always assumed it was Josephine Baker, for some reason, but I never have known.

This scene is very wonderful, out of many other such peculiar scenes in this film. When the movie was first released in 1980 or thereabouts, I saw clips from it on "Night Flight", a cable show on Saturday nights that just showed oddball things like this for hours. Right then I knew I HAD to see the entire film.

Somehow I missed Cecil B Demented. I'm going to watch it online tomorrow, but I haven't really liked John's newer films. Hairspray was OK, but it didn't have the edginess of his earlier work. He started losing it with Lust in the Dust, but at least he still had Divine and Edie. Based on your recommendation, I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised (and a little grossed out) by Cecil. a couple of young people went to have their honey-moon on the sea and there was a mysterious fog that had affected the husband.

the mysterious fog turned that man's life upside down since the moment the man began to shrink everyday.

the man was attacked by his pets and all insects on his garden until he disappears and turn microscopic.
