Nice Vid Rob. I love you Xtreme head, looks really nice, i've got the outer paddle cf and im getting the rest soon. I think they look so smart. Nice vid again and very helpful to begginers :)
Helicopters are inherently unstable. Are you a beginner? I don't know if you mean just unstable or more unstable than normal. Make sure your blade tracking is good. Make sure your blades aren't too tight or too loose in the blade grip. Adding/making a better head stiffener can also help. If you've just started flying it will take a while to get to where you can hover in one spot. The XP blades can help though.
Yes i,m a new to single rotor heli,s. had plenty of coaxial heli,s. just finding it hard to keep it in a 8ft radius. seem alittle slow to do what i want it to. or is it just me. i,ll give it a few more weeks. if i,m still having problems i,ll give ya a shout. thanks for your help.
When coming from a coaxial, many people are surprised by the instability of a single rotor heli. Most beginners find it hard to stay within a 8 foot radius at first. As you practice and progress the radius will get smaller and smaller. Pretty soon you should be able to hold it mostly in one spot. Just keep going and you'll get there :)
sorted the stability out. but broke tail fin? wasn,t enough slack to take out the motor. so unscrewed tail boom. and unpluged cable from esc. and the fucking stupid design inside the tail boom chopped my wires. how do i re thread new cables. plz help. before i chuck it away.lol.
I remember the first crash I had with the Honey bee FD and the blades flew off... I thought it was game over just to find out they snap on and off! That was great.
hey ive wondered how the extreme head works. dont they need to bend to take off the blades? those blades look like the extreme cf ones too, did you upgrade your pinion? im looking into getting the super blades xp and the xtreme metal blade holders. looks like you have both!
I was showing the xtreme fiber blades in this video but I normally fly the XPs with the composite head. It doesn't need to bend as it is quite solid. My pinion is stock.
What upgrades did you used ? swash plate leveler ?

are the xtreme blades good for HBFP V2?
SuperRCKid 2 years ago
Yeah this is a V2. The XFR blades work great on it.

Hello m8. can i use XPs with everything stock.plz hlp. my heli is very twitchy when hovering been told thses blades with help stop that.
santclause1 2 years ago
Depends on what you mean by twitchy. But yes the XPs are some of the few blades you can fly no prob with the stock motor
CrazyHeliDude 2 years ago
when hovering with stock blades it seems hard to keep it stable. still moves around alot even when trimmed. not sure what the problem is.
