I've taken notes on this to see how I can buff these 'Mons in AlchemicalGold (Type changes, stat buffs, movepool expansions, etc.). I have buffs planned for everyone except Burmy.

The only original thing about Burmy is the cloak gimmick, which changes its subtype until it picks up a different cloak. Even then, though, it's not worth my time and I'm going to dummy it and Wormadam out of AG.

I like my Mothim, but yeah, his stats suck because a lot of the time one hit kills him. At least his moves can sort of make up for it. I think Nintendo should have just stopped with the gen 4 pokemon, i dont like the concept of keeping going with the Black and White ones, pull the plug Nintendo

Spinda was great for EV training Special Attack. Not only were they really common on that route, but you could also collect volcanic ash by walking through the grass. Win win for me.

Since Black/White came out, Spinda's not that bad. Especially if you can get a Dreamworld one with the move Superpower. Just have to be careful of it's frailty.

Just like with Charmander on RYB who also had a disadvantage until Erika (3rd or 4th gym) then you had an advantage against Koga's Venomoth. Charmander, Chikorita, and other starters that had a disadvantage is like "hard mode" for pokemon. Besides, Chikorita/Bayleaf have an easier time with Whitney (one of the hardest gym leaders in the entire series) since it's more durable. Meganium is a supporter/wall while the other two are sweepers. Each had a different role.

Dunsparces is mini rachi with instant recoverly + para flinch, the duck sucks no getting round that,all the wormadamns serve a different function then what your comparing them to. mothin gets tinted lens which buts resisted moves power + quiver dance,

but taking a look at it majority of them got ok upgrade in the dream world. spinda getting contary and superpower gives it any amazing sweeping potential in lower tiers, quiver dance gives new life to most of the Bug/flying pokemon, if no Stealth rocks are in play, with storm drain's change in effect lumineon can get +1 sp.atk by switching into a water move, +a new immunity to water. corsola has great sp def + recover and regen. make it an ok wall. mawile got sheer force boosting it's ele. fangs

1. I've actually used this. And to be fair, it's helpful. It might not have as good speed stats as Floatzel, but it still have some decent speed.As well as some nice stat moves as well.

2. There's a LOT of other bland pokemon, I personally think It's design is pretty cool for being a neon butterfly fish. True, its ability is cliche, But like I said. Much more bland pokemon.

In diamond, the only pokemon i need to see to get the national dex was mothim but i couldn't find him so i tried to find burmy in the honey trees but it came as guy and after even more hellish searching i found mothim just at the right of celestic town owned by an ace trainer IN THE FOG WHERE YOU'D NEVER WANT TO GO AGAIN AND SEARCH EVEN IF YOU HAD DEFOG!!!!!! also, i rage quit and started a new game before seeing a mothim

@RetartedScraggy But Wobbuffet's high hp can make it survive many moves from his weaknesses, despite crappy defenses. So, if EV trained, he's probably gonna be able to survive 2 hits and predict what you're gonna use and counter or mirror coat it.
