hi i um have a 29 gallon tank and started cycling it like 2 days ago and the water is still kinda foggy. my filter is a whisper power filter 30 by tetra. is that good for my tank or do i need a different one? and wats the problem with my tank still being foggy? plz help me!!!! ty
@WaldoElectronics I'm sure you've resolved this by now (hopefully), but you can find some non-toxic water clarifier online or at your local pet store. It really helps the water get clearer. Nothing is wrong with it being foggy, most new tanks have that problem the best option is just to wait it out.
k listen im new to fish weight never mind i had small tanks all my life now i got a 25 gallon stall fish tank. im not breeding fish now but in the future i am. so do u need to have just that type of fish?? can they breed with other fish???? plz right back. thanx!!! :)
They will only breed with others of the same type, they won't cross breed. If you get three or four (a male and three females for example) of each breed there's a chance a pair will mate.
If they do there is also a chance that the father will act agressivly towards the other breeds and possible the other females of the same breed, he could even kill a few or at least cause them to die. That depends on how much territory he wants.
Lovely fry, they look perfecttly healthy. If you feed them artemie eggs you will probebly see their bellys fill up bright red since they are still so pale. They are a bit big for artemie eggs thought.
Not often I see a malawi tank with plants, but as long as the pH stays above 8 I guess it don´t matter how you decorate.
what do you do with the new bor cichlids when they get bigger?

Nice, I love cichlids, I just bought two, a blue one and a convict (cinderello), he jumped out the tank the next day I got it, memories for him.
