The main difference between her and Karen Carpenter, is that Karen hadn't need to scream in order to convey emotions to the audience.... She sang silently, insinuatingly but you could always feel this deepest sadness and sorrow in every note and every word... And here the girl is just trying to show her voice off. I'm not sure she even knew what is the song about...

Agree with every word. Most of the people think that if you are able to take high notes - it automatically makes you good singer. But it's so wrong! Karen made miracles with her low register, because the passed every song through her soul and she also knew how to place her vocal in a good light ... This girl Julie, on the contrary, doesn't have even control of her voice...
