I can remember being 14 years old at Slapshot shows, with about 90 of us piling on to the front of the stage just to sing every fucking work with Choke... it was so fucking awesome... you weak little so called hardcore scene kids wouldnt last 2 fucking songs.... lmao.

Hey Mark, If i remember correctly i think i rode the T with you and your kit from Bunrattys once... truly DIY... Thansk for all the great times and the escape from the BS in life that was otherwise presented.
2nd wave? The operational word in that is "wave" I guess. Modern "hardcore" is nothing but the 21st century's glam metal. Hair Metal 20 years ago, Tattoo Metal today...the cashcow just changed its look.
Let's face it. Hardcore nowadays has gone to absolute shit. As much as I love it and live it, it's fucking done. Thanx to Slapshot and AF and the other older guys who are still trying, but man, we should be having a hardcore funeral with all these stupid fuckin' bands that call themselves hardcore today.
I'm not even a fan of a lot of hardcore (especially today's hardcore scene, it's all the same dumb, bland, groove-monkey screamo shit), but these guys are just plain flat out awesome. And Mark McKay is a cool drummer.
