Can they do it with proper farm sheep rather than tame ones? I like working type beardies but those sheep would do most of that as well without the dog. The sheep were following rather than being herded.

of course they are used to dogs and humans, but the follow only so well, because the dog is always on the right place - unfortunately you were not there to look at some other dogs, who placed them self wrong - it did not look that easy going by those dogs, many participants failed! You can clearly see, that they don´t follow me when I take the dog away at the grazing point - no need for them to move - no movement anymore! So if you could manage without dogs: congratulations!
