Clavius is a government damage-control site and all those regular pro-Apollo posters know that Apollo was a hoax.
I posted some stuff about Clavius at a science forum. Google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The info on Clavius is in the second post from the top on page 16.

Clavius is an outstanding site that thoroughly debunks just about every hoax claim known. That's why the hoax believers hate it so much. They can't counter its facts and logic so they make vague and silly accusations like those from cosmored.
Their accusations demonstrate the hoax nutters' obliviousness to a basic principle: facts are facts no matter who says them, even the government. And it's silly to attack those who present facts that can easily be verified independently.

The LRO pictures are already coming in. Have you seen them? The LM descent stages are easy to spot, and in most cases you can see the ALSEP experiments and the rovers. In a few you can easily see foot paths. LRO wasn't even in its final mapping orbit yet, so better pictures are to come.
But none of this has stopped the hoax believers from claiming that the pictures have been photoshopped. Are you surprised? Face it, even if you took them there they'd still insist it was hoaxed.

That's an excellent point. I doubt the Nazis could have made it to the moon by 1950 since many of the required technologies (like integrated circuits) didn't exist yet. But it certainly wasn't beyond the realm of possibility for the human species to do it by 1970.
There was the expression "If they can put a man on the moon, why can't they...". The simple fact is that putting a man on the moon was a lot easier than many other things we'd like to do.

As I understand it, this took place in Aldrin's HOME. The creep wasn't invited, but showed up with a big, scary dog. He was admitted.

This was actually outside a hotel in Beverly Hills where Aldrin had been lured to do an interview under false pretenses. But Sibrel has also gone into several astronauts' homes, either under false pretenses or completely uninvited, and he frequently follows them around in public.
The man is quite simply a stalker, and more than one astronaut has had to get a restraining order against him. He's a jerk.
