You are my kind of makeup expert! Thanks for sharing your experience on how to do droopy eyelids. Wish you were in the USA and available for doing a makeover. What is the lipcolour you were wearing? :)
thank you so much for your tutorial. i do makeup on a lot of women and have only recently been asked to makeup for more mature faces...your tutorial was brilliant because it was about caking makeup on to cover age. Thank you so much
I enjoyed your video and have read many of the comments. Your daughter is correct you look brighter and more youthful with makeup. HOWEVER, the 'aging' factor that most commenter have picked up on is related to the BROWS not the makeup, Your brows are verging on McDonalds arches. As one ages, brows become less full and further apart. Its not SO much the height of the brow but the distance between them - they start past your eye - NOT flattering. Correct with pencil or less waxing etc :) :) :)
@jinglebell88 Ha Ha, I have had some botox, but just a little every 6 months, but it didn't make my eyebrows move up - never had that comment before but I will be scrutinising their placement now :)
I agree you looked younger BEFORE the makeup. I would use a more soft light orangey -not orange- color on the lid and a softer brown in the crease, Brown mascara, and a lighter peachy warm lipstick :) You still looked great, but older
@tedoymisojos Thats nice that you think I look younger without the make-up. My daughter says I look 25 with make-up and 50 without! To be honest I don't normally do make-up for looking younger, I'm 43 and cool with that. I like how it adds polish and professionalism and I feel I just look a bit tired without it. But thanks for watching and commenting
This gal is such a doll, but, honestly, I thought she looked better before she applied all the makeup. :) I think we really tend to overdue makeup and a more natural look is quite appealing! Less is more.
I've got to be honest. The makeup made you look about 5 years older. However, I really enjoyed your positive attitude. I think you can pull off a much more natural look with less makeup and full brows.
I am 25 years old with a German background (I think we tend to have especially droopy brows). I think mine have alway been droopy but I've been noticing it getting worse lately. This video was comforting to me. This is basically how I have been doing my make-up every day, it's confirmed for me that I'm on the right track. I also wanted to added that you are fabulous!
i have the same plb with my eyes im doing a 12 week self makeover here on youtube,, ive mentioned this a few time s on me,, ur so good,, im so glad i found u
When I turned 25 I noticed that my eyelids were starting to sag and since then I've been doing my make-up like this more often than not. What I learned from your video is that a lip primer (or base) is probably necessary as I am well over 25 now, lol. So thanks so much for the tip. I subscribed. Sub me 2 pls, tx!
thankyou fially someone who explanes what the eye primer stuff is ive been trying to find out for ages and no one has answered me thankyou im off to go buy some :)
I'm a good 10 years younger than you are, and my eyes don't look anywhere nearly as young as yours. You know, you really are a natural beauty - without a stitch of makeup on - but you know how to enhance that beauty very well, I should add!
You actually are genuinely cute, thanks a lot for the video. it happens to be depressing i'm located in Hillsboro for the reason that i cannot obtain high-quality makeup, on the other hand i receive complimentary cosmetics samples through "Gratis Makeup Samples". i really like Sally Hansen makeup!
good instructions- thanks 4 sharin, anyone sampled Olay's newest range of products?? its difficult to find quality makeup in St. Marys Point but i managed to recieve some stunning samples through 'Gratis Makeup Samples'! their cool.
@zacatetas....where are you? I'll be the old blonde to your nerd any time! I can find conversations anywhere but men who love older blonde women are rare and far between! lol
i wouldn't say to make sure the brows are relatively thin. many people look best with thick brows, it all depends on their facial structure, not a one size fits all thing. also, thin brows tend to age people, thicker ones bring youthfulness to the face.
Thanks for that tutorial for the more experienced woman. = ) I love how you focus on the drooping eyelid (yes, I am blessed w/this also), and the lipstick color definitely makes a world of difference. You're gorgeous if I might add! Thanks again!
Can I just say how impressed I am with this. I'm only 24 years old but I find your knowledge and presenting style SO much better than most of the videos aimed at my age group. Bravo, I love it!
Your video was the first one I watched that I didn't stop after 2 minutes of watching. It was very informative, and you are a hoot! Reading the little captions made all the difference in your presentation!
I love your tutorials! I'm 60 and have been wearing makeup since I was 14. I love it now that we have the lighter mornings so that I can get my makeup base just right - I always worried I overdid it in the winter!
Anyway, re the eyebrow thing. My brows seem to have developed a sort of minor curl to them! Despite gel/wax and grooming them, nothing works and they always look untidy! Any suggestions?
Thank you so much for doing this it really has helped.I have hit the big 50 and I still love wearing m akeup every day but have spent a fortune lately on eyeshadows that are just not right. I have picked up so many tips from your other videos but this was what i really needed... thank you again and please keep posting your brilliant videos :)
I do love your tips, but I'm kinda depressed...since I'm 44 do I have to go buy the Tena pads ASAP? lol
I actually love using lots of colors on my eyes...I am a bit crepey and droopy, but I think I look okay. Actually a tip from one of your earlier videos about not using shimmer on the upper portion of your eye has been a great help.
Please keep the videos coming...I find you to be the single most helpful person for "over double 20 years olds" :)
Double 20 - I love that...I have also have a good friend who is 40 and but she was 12 years premature! - check out the rock chick eyes, I actually find them very wearable for "experienced chics" too X
I just had a look. Firstly you have the most enviable huge eyelids, wish I had those, great for make-up :) With the brows I think you need to emphaisise the "tails" a little more to give them some more balance and I would actually darken your hair a little, In the video it looks like you have beautiful brown eyes and if you darken your hair a little and add some more caramel tones it would bring out your eyes more. I'd also soften your look with a bit of a longer fringe too. :)
Check out my channel for the best eyelid surgery!
