That does not include inactive reserves though. If you want actual numbers I cannot give them. I know how many are in my parent service, but not the others. I suggest you might be able to google it.

@RattlerBK Actually, it's like 1% of 1% of the citizenry serves in the military. All in all there would about 1.2 serving in the military including reserves. That does not include inactive reserves though. If you want actual numbers I cannot give them. I know how many are in my parent service, but not the others. I suggest you might be able to google it.

Well, I far as I know, the government can't use military forces for police actions due to the oath a person takes as they enter the military. So what I understand is they are going to use ex-military personel to fill this NSF, they don't have to abide by the US Constitution and can be used for what ever there needed for. Training is already under way for this.

The Obama adminstration talked about a national security force? no numbers that I saw, It could all be part of a reshuffle of agencies like homeland security. Martial law is hard to implement, the military is very againest it. The last it was used across the nation was the civil war. It broke the military, Lee and many others to the southern cause. I have been to 3 military bases in the last year, Most unites are over seas with only base HQ soldiers, and support remaining here. except for unites returning and those trianing to leave ( included me ). The 20,000 extra troops would only be 3 to 4 BDE worth troops, not a large force at all. about the the size of Texas NG. They would help fill the man power gap for military so the Guard would not need to be used.

Why wouldn't there be civil unrest when the sheeple have no clue that their so-called "American Dream" is no more??? Gun sales are up, gun bans lifted, under/unemployment soaring, whispers about a draft; all there's left is a false flag crisis to unleash the troops, even the UN/foreign troops. The executive orders will go into effect swiftly.

Y'know it seems like the more freedom we lose in the U.S. the more freedom grows in Russia. I just learned that the Russian government passed legislation in 2005 that would allow their citizens to own guns. Isn't that something? They've got to be the only country in the world giving guns to their citizens. Everyone else is trying to take them away.
