@SaeriJenn She has one seizure a day. It lasts maybe a minute. Within a minute or two after her seizure she is eating, drinking, playing with her toys. She loves to swing on hanging toys, wrestle with her small stuffed toy, hang upside down like a bat in her cage... She enjoys life. If she were miserable being kept, I would euthanize her if I couldn't find a way to make her happy.
@Mehapants They will have seizures from poisoning or head injury, sometimes even extreme dehydration. One of her upper incisors was growing into the roof of her mouth. I removed it but she still has seizures.
I know what you mean about the screams I had a ferret who had seizures and the screams were the worst sounds I have ever herd I never want to hear anything like that again :(
It's so sad to see her like that. Can they do anything for her tooth and cleft?? I have seen squirrels over the years fall over sideways. I always thought they got hurt falling out of a tree or something. They usually didn't last long. I hate to see any of them hurting. I have a young one with very thin fur and was worried that she wouldn't make it through the cold but she did and thank God it's a mild winter. God Bless you for taking care of these animals. I love all your videos.
@Ginnymo62 She had surgery for her cleft palate, dental issues. This video is two month's old. She still has seizures. She's not full grown. I hope she can outgrow the seizures. Before her seizures she gets tired and goes to her nest box, thank god. This way she doesn't fall in her tall cage.
@suprmax I could give daily valium or pentobarbital. That tends to make them sit around and do nothing all day. She's not full grown yet. Maybe she'll out grow them, or not.
Oh sweet little squirrellie, I'm so sorry sweet baby, We love You sweet little squirrellie, I hope You get better sweet baby. @SaeriJenn Yeah good idea. Let's kill all people who have seizures too because I'm sure they would rather die.
