wow, that pc 1000 is a beast. seems like a bit of overkill for running water lines though. but i guess its better to have too much than not enough...in most cases. cool machine though. the bedding box is pretty unique.

@5thgencarlokid Most modern 360s use this kind of designation 100=10 tons or 10,000 kilos 450 = 45 tons or 45,000 kilos 1000 = 100 tons or 100,000 kilos.

So a komatsu PC 8000 weighs roughly 800 tons or 800,000 kilos.

A beding box is attached to the rear of the excavator and as he says it feeds stone or watever you chose to put in it to the front of the machine. Then it just feeds it into the bucket. Pretty simple design really but very useful.
