Hmm .. Slippery Slipper Slips Into The Speaker's Role. Can't help but think that this sorry episode is a backroom fix by JG .. despite Albanese's whining press-conference denials. Not that the Opposition is any better .. Abbott would just as readily do something similar, if it suited his expedient political interests. So Slippery gets a $75000 pay rise for this .. ie an ordinary-worker's handsome yearly-salary alone. But Slippery's past misdeeds seem to haunt him & his credibility ...
