why the feck isn't thtere a club in the town centre, that would be a huge investment as it would be the only club in the town, it would make some serious money!

I was born in Stafford in 1966 and left in 2005. The place has changed so much during that time. So many small family owned shops and businesses have gone. With the expansion of the university there are so many students. Crime has shot up, communities have been destroyed, and the town is now effectively owned by big business such as the supermarkets. Basically, apart from one or two endearing features, Stafford is the same as Scunthorpe or any other anonymous market town. I'm sad about that.

i was there, on the whole, the people out there are generaly nice and down to earth, the local stafford town girls are nice, the people out there well spoken, the university lecturers at the time i was there, well, neh :|
00:32 sec - I actually lived in that student house on the corner during my placement year. lived with a right psycho who said she was 23 but turned out she was 33! She kept on calling herself different names & washed all her plates & pans in domestos bleach!
I couldn't help but laugh when she washed her 30 year old delicate teddy in the washing machine @ 95oC & cried when it shrank & shed its fur... I had warned her several times & tried to stop her.
Halls in 1st year was bad... room insepctions with fluff on carpet & bluetac being called 'damage'! After that when you get your own place Stafford is what you make it... personally i like the place as i've bought a house, got married and settled down here.

I was in Stafford Uni from 1992 to 1996.
Where the fuck is Asda come from, that used to be a fire station.
Other than that its not changed in 15 years !
