@FireThunderTV Compared to the righteousness of God we all deserve the garbage dump. God sent Jesus and those who believe He is the messiah are made righteous in Gods eyes. If you were the only one on the planet Christ would have came died and reserected just for you. So God dosnt think you are garbage. @FireThunderTV even the most "righteous" acts of a Christian is like dirty rags compared to the righteousness of our perfect God. We shouldn't really have expectations of people even Christians. I agree with everything you said. I was chased away from God by Christians not that long ago, but this time around after rededicating my life to the Lord, I realized it's not God's fault that alot of His people are jerks, and it will only hurt myself in the end to turn my back on Him. I learned to not project what Christians do onto the image of God. His character is flawless and totally unlike what the worst Christians I've come across.

As Howard Jones says in his song, "I lost my faith in the holy church". All the people who gave me the "thumbs down" have no concept of the HELL I've lived through with professing Xians &w/the church. I've been going through 1of the worst things in my life 4the last 21.5 months becuz of some thoughtless, selfish, calloused people who have ice flowing through their veins.

isn't it interesting that he is so "humble" in saying "I this, I that, I did this, I did that" in place of keeping those actions to himself and telling those who watch to be humble by "do this, do that, just pick up this, just be this" lol ridiculous!!

I must mention however, he doesn't speak ill of God, which is very good but so those who believe in Jesus know for themselves that they must test everyone who comes in the name of the Lord. I'm just saying, he's right in how to be humble, but I don't like how he isn't humble in crediting himself with his examples. :( God bless you all!

I understand your point too but he's not showing real life example. He's "telling" you his examples. Showing would actually be the action of such. As I mentioned, he could say instead, "It's not humble of me to tell you what I do to be humble. Rather, I'll just tell you how to be humble by doing this, doing that......etc." This approach would then be him truly "showing" his humility, thus being an example.

People will relate to yor real life situations rather then just hearing dont do this & do this. Anyone can say dont do this and do this but people will respond better to somone who will tell us how they fought threw it and how we can too its also extreamly incouraging. Iam sure somone has tought you somthing before just by telling you what you should do but you as we all have ignored it but when somone gives you a real life situuation you can relate to it helps at least me alot more. wow, this guy is just so perfect. but you know what... no one is as perfect as this guy's trying to be. He needs to find humility in not trying so hard. Accepting that is is no greater than the next. Then he will truly be humbled.

Perfectionists set themselves up for great failures. And the perfectionist that brags about all he's done is the truly saddest individuals amongst us.

Be happy with whom you are... imperfect and unique. Don't try to live to impress others... you will fail.

This is a lesson for me because l have been taking pride everywhere l go, always want to sit where the big ones are when lam not. I have been trying to be a celebrity among my community. I have been around this ministry and even though I am not involved with them anymore(not b/c they are unscriptural, just b/c I am in another place in my life), I will say that having been involved with John Paul's ministry for a number of years that attended many events, where I was around him and witnessed his behavior, that he is truly a man of godly character and integrity.

I think it is not the pastors or the Christians, it is you...

When you have the love of Christ in you, somehow you learn to accept the people just as they are. Actually the Holy Spirit helps you to accept others, with all their spots and blemishes. And then the whole drama of open criticism changes. I think you should write to the individuals who have wronged you and deal with it privately.

And forgive right away, because Gods forgives you.
