whys that guy around 5:00 mins holding a quran when praying? is this permissible in some madhab cuz i've been taught its not permissible? im not trying to instigate anything, i jus wna know. JazakAllah for whoever can share why.

It is permissable, there is a hadith in which Aisha RA was leading salah while reading from the Quran. Asalam Aliekum.

As salaamu alaikum, love your nik btw...yutubee...haha..anyway..­.holding mushaf is ok for yourself whilst praying the superogatory prayers..nafl etc....but as for holding mushaf whilst praying behind imam..this is not the sunnah..and impermissable. The guy at 5.00 is holding it to follow imam and not to correct him...and besides there should be others who have memorised behind imam to correct if his recitation is weak..and Allah knows best..
