Lol you said, "everyone loves dog beach"? Surfers HATE the fact that dogs are allowed on that beach. More dogs on the beach = more turds in the lineup. I cant believe the city doesnt move dog beach to a location along mission bay or san diego bay?

Also, Dog Jetty/Jetty is constantly one of THE most polluted surf spots in San Diego thanks to the San Diego rivermouth exiting there, boat traffic, and the dogs.

That wave is still badass on some days though. Shortboard only!

i take my dog there, and have seen some epic right barrels virtually unsurfed... the san diego river lays out some sweet underwater sand bars there..

if you google maps "san diego river" and zoom in, u get a real dynamic view of it..
