Ariel was a colleague of mine at Santa Monica College,and I just found out today about his passing. I am crushed and devastated that we lost such a great young man with gigantic talent! He was the greatest composer I ever met, he was like a Mozart of our time! We used to practice in piano rooms together separated by a thin wall and my jaw would drop when I heard him play! Ten I heard a nearly completed composition of his and I did not believe my ears ! I am very sad RIP Ariel!
I didn't put it all together when I heard about the accident on the news. Watching this video really made me even more sad. He has so much more to give. I didn't know him very well but he was taken so early.
He was a fantastic guy with unlimited potential. I had the privilege of playing music with him a few weeks ago when he played the harmonica with me. He touched lives instantaneously and I'm sure everyone who ever met him will miss him. I certainly will.
