@mygiggles4u sorry, I read through them after I posted. BTW I had a sister who was over 600 pounds. She died in the hospital a year ago and I am big myself so I understand how you feel. I have given up many, many foods and concentrate on eating healthier things (fish,seafood, fruit, vegetables, etc) because they are better for me.

@mygiggles4u I can only stand for about 10 minutes at a time and I cannot use stairs anymore. My sister was in the hospital for the last 6 months of her life. The doctors were trying to help her lose weight but then her feeder boyfriend started bringing her in fast food when no other people were around her in her room. They had to declare her mentally unfit to stop him but it was too late by then for her. I have not touched crappy fast or junk foods since her funeral.
Mad respect for the kid, but it's hard for me to understand how his mom can get that big, or any of the supersizes from any of the episodes. I feel terrible at where I'm at, and I don't think I can reach the size to their degree. I guess I'm most curious about how they can achieve that weight in terms of things they do. I mean you have the be REALLY sedentary to get that big, and I always question where the money to support that lifestyle comes from. Anyway, I wish the best for her and everyone.

Charlene is thoroughly unlikable. She seems to have no personality or warmth to her at all. She strikes me as a very cold person. She#s also very childish in her approach to food and eating. She is finicky and plays with her food the way a CHILD does. Not to mention the fact that when she was reunited with Dawn after three months, she didn't go in for a hug the way everyone else on the show usually does. She just gives off a really negative vibe.

Kristena's boy seems more grown-up than many of America's kids. Many kids today are spoiled and uneducated brats. He's only 13, and is well on his way to becoming a proper man. I feel bad that he's so worried, though.
@RedFlower26 Unless you actually have kids and know what it is to be a parent then don't put down the American children. All 3 of mine are smart and well-mannered. They are not spoiled or do without anything that they need. At ages 4, 5, and 12 they all help out without any bad attitudes.

In almost every supermarket unfortunately. They get in the way and the people that drive them are often rude and I've had my foot run over at least twice. They were originally made for the elderly or disabled, not disabled from being obese, but that is who seems to use them.

Peaple need to eat a variety of foods, even if they choose to eat fish and meat it needs to be kept to a minimum to experience optimal health.There are so many studies that favor meat because of the fact that you can't make money out of fruits and veggies as you can with meat- the economy of many countries depends on livestock, but is money more important than the health of the individual human being? I hate how this show is putting these super size people on this show as the poster children for what America is and stands for. I KNOW NO ONE THAT BIG! AGAIN... I KNOW NO ONE THIS SIZE! And it really irritates me to go to places like walmart and smiths because their motor carts, that are meant to be used for the disabled, are all taken by the morbidly obese so when my dad goes in the store (he walks with a cane and suffered from a stroke) he has to walk around with a cart and it takes him a long time and is extremely painful, then as we're walking down the aisles and I see him struggling, a massive woman passes us to pick up her kraft macaroni and I want to say "GET UP, LAZY!"

@mygiggles4u If it's really Endemol (which I presume as well since they produce and air and have all the rights to this show) I don't think they will ever fund your bypass. Legally there's nothing you can do either unless you have something to prove like the promise written down on paper with signitures.

I felt extremely uncomfortable throughout this whole episode, looking at some of the food choices these people make... But I'm glad that things went well in the end, although I still had the feeling that Charlene didn't try as hard as Dawn.
I guess I finally got around to watching this, Kristena this is so sad. Brent looked like he was going to cry when he was talking about you. Kristena is one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I know a lot of people have mentioned that she is not taking care of her child as a mother should, but she wears herself out giving him every opportunity in the world. She is a very loving person and deserves to get help so she can share her story with more people. Much love

Charlene is thoroughly unlikable. She seems to have no personality or warmth to her at all. She strikes me as a very cold person. She#s also very childish in her approach to food and eating. She is finicky and plays with her food the way a CHILD does. Not to mention the fact that when she was reunited with Dawn after three months, she didn't go in for a hug the way everyone else on the show usually does. She just gives off a really negative vibe.

My weight gain came form a birth control shot depo-pre-vera it was to save my life because i die 2x while trying to give birth to m y miracle child Brent. The very thing that was to help save my life is what is killing me now..BUT I AGREE in the fact of what you are saying.. I'm doing all I can to make sure that THAT is what happens for my son. In almost every supermarket unfortunately. They get in the way and the people that drive them are often rude and I've had my foot run over at least twice. They were originally made for the elderly or disabled, not disabled from being obese, but that is who seems to use them.

2.) been eating that way for 25 years plus! So meat is NOT essential for thriving and it upsets me to hear this message on and on again when i feel my best without it. The worst is that there are so many other factors that decide if a person is healthy or not- showing a person that generally undereats on EVERYTHING and saying its a meat deficiency is unlogical and false. You get MORE iron with dark green leafy veggies than with a steak- FACT look it up.

And it really irritates me to go to places like walmart and smiths because their motor carts, that are meant to be used for the disabled, are all taken by the morbidly obese so when my dad goes in the store (he walks with a cane and suffered from a stroke) he has to walk around with a cart and it takes him a long time and is extremely painful, then as we're walking down the aisles and I see him struggling, a massive woman passes us to pick up her kraft macaroni and I want to say "GET UP, LAZY!"

I feel they put themselves in that situation and are killing themselves, legally and yeah it makes me angry.

I have been 40 pounds lighter than now, and I was way to thin...American people i guess are big and have big bones...You can´t exept a person with a wrist with a circonference of 7 inches to be the same weight as someone with a 6 inches wrist...Most of people think I look like 25 to 30 pounds lighter than my real weight.

Legally there's nothing you can do either unless you have something to prove like the promise written down on paper with signitures.

I guess I finally got around to watching this, Kristena this is so sad. Brent looked like he was going to cry when he was talking about you. Kristena is one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I know a lot of people have mentioned that she is not taking care of her child as a mother should, but she wears herself out giving him every opportunity in the world. She is a very loving person and deserves to get help so she can share her story with more people. Much love

American's are so pathetic. When she was talking about her pain meds, it sounded like she was almost bragging. If she had to work, shop, clean, and seriously raiser her son she wouldn't have time to overeat. She didn't catch this disease.

@MsGechi77 it's ashame you would say things like that, I'm Kristena & the weight gain came from taking DEPO-PRE-VERA a birth control shot I died 2x trying ti have my beautiful son it was to help save my life INSTEAD IT IS KILLING ME!!!! I hate HATE TAKING pain meds, some people are unable to control the weight gain, I don't overeat I HARDLY EVEN EAT for FEAR OF GAIN WEIGHT., I'll pray for you I hope you'll pray fro us.
