actually, it's balanced right on the CG recommended by GWS. It might appear to fly tail heavy due to the combination of current flying style, max throws, a slight breeze (coming in from the left) and about twice as much power as its supposed to have. But since you're such an expert, I'm sure you already knew that.
when I had a stock brushed motor I had two batteries - a GWS 600mah 6-AA cell NICD pack and a Sony 1350mah 2 cell lithium ion pack. With aerobatic flying the nicd got about 8 minutes flight time and the lithium ion got 6 to 8 minutest flight time but when flying as slowly as possible, the nicd's longest flight time was 12 minutes and I got 27 minutes once with the lithium ion.
@ghri67 $25.99 new at tower hobbys - you add your radio, power, servos etc, --old 72 mhz futaba can be had for $5-10 complete with reciever at swap meets, servos can be had for $3 each new , lipo runs $10-15, a rctimer 1200kv brushless $8 free shipping on ebay, $60- 70 total with the best power, , one of the nicest easy flyers ever invented-
