First off its hard to compare Jabbawockeez and Quest Crew in the first place cause there not exactly the same style of bboying. Jabba was more of a smoother crew but Quest is more of a hard core bboy crew, there main style is bboying, Jabba has more of there own style. There both really great crews, but people have different taste in dance some people like all the power moves and cool tricks Quest can do, but then theres also people who like the more smoother and thighter choreogrpahy.

@THRdoremifasolatido i agree :) Quest got better personalities and they are so much funnier if u get to know them, each individual has got their own unique personality, and each one represents a different dance style, and a couple of them have dancing experiences from other dance shows. so how cant they be better ????
all I can say Jabba is very artistic. Quest is very athletic. Jabba come out with very original moves,style,and passion about dancing. Quest came out and want to show something "they have the saying if you can do it we are much better." Jabba is a legend and even the kids that watching them can not forget them as they grow up because of there mask. Both are good dancers.
You can't really compare Quest with Jabba. People like theaznfishy complain about Jabba's masks and sort of call it a gimmick. The masks are part of the imagery that Jabba produces. They work hard on making clean and crisp moves that provide an overall image like art. I love Quest on the other hand that focuses on lots of tricks and wowing the crowd. However, I think a lot of their members get left in the dark way too much while Hok Ryan and Dtrix take the spotlight mostly with their solos.
Jabba isnt all about bboy, but im pretty sure they could do bby moves and even do some quest crew moves if they wanted, but im sure quest cant do the locking the way jabba does. For the ADBC charity I wanna see quest do exactly that routine jabba did and im 100% they wudnt pull it off too the tee, it wud come close, but not exact. plus both crews are different so its kinda stupid to compare and dare who cud do this and who cud do that at the end of the day they wont
I feel Jabba rightly deserve their spot as america best dance crew. Jabba are versitile and have their own style. They dominate slow songs with cordianted movments and it makes you want to watch something no crew does. Most crews dance fast n furious or they do bboy moves with a lil dance here and there. You gotta break it down. Quest is mainly power-orientated. And Jabba is Style with the occasional windmill here and there. Both crews won and they both deserved it. If ABDC awarded every crew that was the same then it would be American Idol. Both are great crews. Dont hate on either of them. :D

The main thing about JabbaWockeeZ is they wear the masks and gloves to show that they move as one and not as individuals. Someone can do something different while not taking apart from the illusion of moving as a whole.
The members of Quest on the other hand are well versed in separate styles and are good because of their individuality: D-trix the powerhead, Hok does locking, Victor does air freezes, Feng does popping, Steve does flips. etc etc.
@theaznfishy um jabba can do quest stunts (aka kid rainen) but if they did they wouldn't be jabba if they did would they, they don't need to have flips and crazy trixs to prove that they r the best there mastas of the flow n pop of dance somethin quest is severely lacking, n btw, wearing masks n gloves is alot harder than not wearing them, mistakes can be seen from a mile away and they eye sockets limit their visibility, quest is good but jabba is definition of teamwork, they move as one

well i guess that's becuz Quest is made up of alot of different characters, only 2 are bboys, which is victor and D.Trixx. The others are like, "street-dancers" so they're not as good.
BOTY isnt the best now. alot of bboys are boycotting it, including Bboyworld. u should check out R-16 and Evolution 3. those are SICK.
some crews still participate, but alot of crews quit BOTY becuz the prize money is way too little, and the event is sponsored by huge companies like Sony. the reason that BOTY gives is that crews that win BOTY will know how their shows can do in real life. that's all bullshit. even evolution 3, which is like an underground thing, has more prize money than BOTY which is pretty gay.
In ABDC, the prize money is huge and the crews even get a 1 yr contract, which is pretty sick.

Quest has a high level of everything but in a international environment they would get no props, simply becuz the level of difficulty is so low. heck, i live in hk, and i've seen those halos and those same Quest tricks done so many times, and hk isnt famous for its bboys.
About BOTY, yea I dont know my take. I also think its bullshit that the prize money is so low but then again look at how Korea treats its winners lol. If only every country were like that.
And about Quest, they aren't a bboy crew. They're a dance crew with a ton of different people (btw not everyone can do the stuff terada does) so you can't compare them with bboy crews. Their show is more entertaining than a lot of BOTY performances.
i heard something like the winning crew gets to travel around the world and boty would pay for it....maybe thats why the money is little...but i think they kno that whoever wins boty gets a lot of attention afterwards

@JPCWhutwhut True, but on the other hand, Jabba are better in some other things as a crew than Quest is. I mean, look at the waving sections of these both crews. All of the Jabba do these sections perfectly while some members of Quest seem to be weaker. Well, at least this is my opinion and only one example. Anyway, I agree with other people that both o these crews are awesome and should not be compared!

@nheowie Jabbawockeez can do a lot of what Quest can do. They just choose not to do it. Quest probably could do some of the Jabbas routines but theyre not on the same popping level as Jabba. Jabba and Feng have different popping styles. It sounds like bullshit but I know what I'm talking about.

super crew is probably the best BBOY crew so far on abdc. but quest is a better crew and arguably the best crew ever on abdc. and outside of the show, there are so many crews such as flex flav and gamblerz that would shit on super crew in bboy battles

super cr3w has ALOT more style than u think. on ABDC, they didnt show off ANY of their style. Do Knock has got the sickest tops and downrock, he got michael jackson type shit. mike murda is rly smooth, ronnie rly chill with combos/transitions infused with personal style.
however their individual styles are RLY different. even if they did the same thing on choreo they would look like shit becuz Do Knock is rly different from the rest of the crew. they've had to adapt to each other to perform.

If you guys like quest crew so much, you should look out for other bboy crews. Search up BOTY on YouTube and you can find crews that make Quest looks like kiddy stuff :3

well i guess that's becuz Quest is made up of alot of different characters, only 2 are bboys, which is victor and D.Trixx. The others are like, "street-dancers" so they're not as good.
BOTY isnt the best now. alot of bboys are boycotting it, including Bboyworld. u should check out R-16 and Evolution 3. those are SICK.

some crews still participate, but alot of crews quit BOTY becuz the prize money is way too little, and the event is sponsored by huge companies like Sony. the reason that BOTY gives is that crews that win BOTY will know how their shows can do in real life. that's all bullshit. even evolution 3, which is like an underground thing, has more prize money than BOTY which is pretty gay.
In ABDC, the prize money is huge and the crews even get a 1 yr contract, which is pretty sick.

Quest has a high level of everything but in a international environment they would get no props, simply becuz the level of difficulty is so low. heck, i live in hk, and i've seen those halos and those same Quest tricks done so many times, and hk isnt famous for its bboys.

About BOTY, yea I dont know my take. I also think its bullshit that the prize money is so low but then again look at how Korea treats its winners lol. If only every country were like that.
And about Quest, they aren't a bboy crew. They're a dance crew with a ton of different people (btw not everyone can do the stuff terada does) so you can't compare them with bboy crews. Their show is more entertaining than a lot of BOTY performances.

oh then that changes things dramatically, but ABDC still gives WAY more media attention and money to winning crews. a 1 yr contract with limos and shit is very nice, i saw a vid with ronnie and rockadile chilling in a limo.
BOTY is closed within the Bboy community. i would not know about BOTY if i wasnt a bboy, and to be frank alot of bboys are poor, or not rich.
