Hey, I love you videos. Your the best jet-pilot I've seen in BF2. Do you have any tips on how to fly with a mouse and keyboard? I don't have a joystick. But is the joystick so much better then every one says?

If you can somehow manage to hover the F-35B without getting shot down by other jets, helicopters, decent tank pilots, and ground AA including Anti-Tanks, it makes for a good pivoting turret. Especially on Gulf of Oman. Good luck with the constant "Missile Lock On" warnings though.

I've played Bf2 online a few weeks now and i am terrible at flying...it's like my fingers goes into a knot when i try to maneuver and actually hit something. I have only flown a couple of hours and i got thinking watchin you aces that do you use a joystick or just the keyboard (wich seems really hard for me anyway) and what do you recon how many of the aces in Bf2 uses just the keyboard?

I started on jan 06, and i can still remember the thought: "How do they do it??"

Almost 3 years later i now master the plane a bit better than what you see here.

Practice is the key. And do a lot of it on singleplayer, there you pratice against the pcjet.

You can use the commanderassest as target or empty tanks etc. on empty servers.

After 250 hours of flying F35 in bf2 i can tell you, this IS patch 1.41. (nonetheless i used to play against irish from time to time a while back now).

Pulling down a j10 is just a matter of angle, distance and the movements the enemy jet is doing....and of course experience...and in fact, thats what you are lagging my friend...

w/e man, I have 125+ hours in a jet and am actually pretty good, I can keep a F35 up against a J10 but it is much harder now. I would love for you to say that I need more experience and you can't even spell "lacking."

btw try this:

load up singleplayer.

chose expertmode and operation clean sweap.

Get airbourne make sure he is on your tail and try shake the computer steared jet of (pretty freakin hard), get behind and shoot.

sometimes it works with fire and forget tactics (J-10 and F-15)but only when u sure u have lock on???

BUT: when a missile is fired with lock on aginst a flare, it somtimes not explode, but it will find the next heatsource! with a little luck, the lock on is on the flare that is in a straight line of the missile flight, the next lock on will then be the aircraft releasing those flares;)

it depends on the jet you're flying and the other jet. But generally, if your opponent is in the F-35B, you can just fire and forget. Just make sure they don't have any flares. With the other jets, you can fire and forget when they are travelling slowly and straight. Otherwise, you'll most likely miss.

this shows how important it is, to be able to switch between the cameraviews, and still be able to orientate on the map and the jet u are about to chase down?? It takes some skills, ill say 50+ hours in jets on bf2 just to get behind a enemy, 100+ hours to avoid heatseaking missiles in a j10, in the F35B it takes about 150-200 hours to do that! ill judge this player to have around 600-900+ if not a lot more??

i have 45 hours in jets and i can take most j10 piliots in a f 35 and getting used to the camera views took me a bit though and being able to spot in diffrent camera views takes some pratice too. but if you mostly fly in a f 35 you should get that stuff down in maybe 5 hours or less of flight time if you keep at it. holm ill take you on in a f35 ;) i only have 45 hours of flight time so i should suck =P

BUT they are not fired from the same spot off the 2 planes! J-10 fires from the wings of the plane, and the F35 from the bottom of the plane! By knowing that, its easy for me now to take down J-10s, with the aim 9s from the F35!
