Lunar Magic Basics Tutorial Part 1 (speech included)

hi, i have two important questions:

1. i need to know if its possable to have different GFX in different levels. for example:

if i have a normale looking key in every level but in one level it is used as a stool, is it possable to have the keys GFX a block in this level but have the key normal in every other level. how do i do this?

2. how can i add text in my level, like just have white text floating in the level as forground scenery.

please help, it would be MUCH appreciated. :D

i got the working rom, and lunar magic, but it wouldnt let me add blocks or sprites

You don't drag the things from the menu. You must simply left click on the map

when adding blocks click on layer 1 open up the block editor then right click for sprites its layer 3 then the kooper pic

Sorry for the late response, It could be a corrupted zip folder.

That sometimes happens to me.

Find a different copy of the same thing.

Otherwise, I haven't a clue why it's not working..

Does the rom hack go to the zsnes or do i have to download another thing?

as soon as you save your rom, it can go to an emulator (zsnes, snes9x, etc.)

i prefer snes9x because it's simpler for me.

If u want to go straight to a level go to the overworld map with the pic of the castle, click on View then click on Show Level Numbers there u go!
