The great thing about YT is how it reminds me how many hits groups like the Chiffons had. I think bs revisionist history led me to believe that they were part of some industry hit making machine and ended up as "one hit wonders." Obviously, this wasn't the case.

Sock hops in the school gum- and Line dances in your socks at high school auditorium during lunch- t shirts and tight jeans and pickle stabber shoes and greased back hair with the spit curl and a rat tail comb in your back pocket.

This is truly good music where people could really sing. The Chiffons are one of my favorite groups and I didn't even grow up in the 60s, I grew up in the 80s. I think the 50s and 60s were the greatest years in music especially for for R&B, Doo Wop and Rock 'n Roll.
