I can't believe Clinton would have the audacity to claim the higher ground on spending. Obama is blowing away ANY sense of fiscal responsibility, so the Dems can't claim ANY progress in that regard.

Who blew the economy in the first place?? When Clinton was in office he reduced the deficit and he left office with a record high deficit. Bush destroyed the economy and left the country in a rubble. President Obama has a though job ahead of him trying to clean up the fucking mess after Bush and his stupid party! First of all, spending bill originate in the House, not the Executive Office. The Republican Revolution balanced the budget and create a surplus. Clinton simply signed the Republican bill. The economy started tanking when the Democrats took over in 2006. It only got worse when Obama took over. And I agree that Bush wasn't good for the economy.

It`s pretty rude to downrate someones comments.. But you`re dead wrong. Clinton was a very successful president and he was the first democratic president that was re elected since Roosevelt. He did a good job on the economy. Histiorians rate him very high on the economy. He worked with the congress on every budget, and deserves the credit for the surplus and reduced debt when he left office.

The current President is also a Democrat and nowhere near as fiscally conservative as Bill Clinton. He's intellectually dishonest because he's not willing to increase taxes but he's increasing spending. His stimulus backfired and lost more American jobs than would have been lost without any stimulus at all - by the President's own numbers.
