@TheTaimzzzz "Neer bharan kaise jaaon, sakhi". Dear friend, how do I go to fill up my pot with water.
This is supposedly spoken by a girl to her friend. She wants to go to the river to fill up her pot, but she cannot, because the hero is standing on the way to tease her.
These are probably the lines from the poetry of Amir Khusro. He was a sufi poet who had a healthy influence of and on Hindu and sufi Islamic culture.
This is absolutely marvellous! So nice to see non-Indians reveling at this. Even the Pakistani singer is not too much into Krishna ballads. Great work!
Aa aa aa aaa... Aa aa aa..
BEAUTIFUL, NORMALLY I DON'T GIVE ANY COMMENT. BUT AFTER GOING THROUGH THIS I FEEL MY SELF BOUND TO SAY "BEAUTIFUL". CLASSICAL KI BAAT HI KUCH AUR HAI.
its a classical raag, tiluk kamood... and many singers have tried their best to sing it, some have suceeded, but this one is especially amazing cus it has used modern reggae instruments here.. this fuson is absolutely mind blowing...
this isnt any "song" its a raag-namely Tilak Kamod! n truly speakin whn dis raga developed centuries back, there was only Indo Pak Subcontinent. Tilak Kamod has said to b emerged frm Khamaj, the oldest recordin ov Khamaj is ov Abdul Karim Khan-a Muslim! so v cant really tag such musical genre,Pakistani n Indian music has got same roots n it was da Subcontinent not only todays India where da present music developed Indo Pak music shares mutual history being influenced by arab n persain music aswel
