UPDATE: G4 took cheats off so now two shows and attack almost never show games and now they only have ninja warrior, american ninja warrior,cops,attack of the show(not a lot),cheaters,xplay, and web soup(which i think they cancled)
Amen. You can also add DBZ, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho (of course), and every other kickass show you knew on CN. Rephrase that: they took off awesome Toonami and replaced it with CN "Real", because everyone wants reality crap now

Its obvious that the new president of CN seriously has something against anime,because not only did he get rid of Toonami, but the fact that Dragonball Z and Naruto(two of the channels biggest cash cows) have been moved to their RIVAL NETWORKS(Nickelodean and Disney respectively) makes this very much apparent.
@majorafan09 I don't really like Naruto, but I still have a problem with the fact that they barely air it at all on Disney. DBKai is actually decent.
and I hate that adult swim has pushed all anime to 12:30 in the morning, and using the time prior to that airing the same shit they air every other night( like King of the Hill) despite the fact that Saturdays on adult swim were supposed to be reserved for anim(and they'd also air anime reruns on weekdays too).

You forget, Cartoon Network scrapped their entire Toonami timeslot... I GOT MY GREATEST TASTE ANIME FROM THAT PROGRAMMING!!! YYH and DBZ BOTH aired on Toonami, and now there GONE!!! YYH isn't ANYWHERE anymore! DBZ's been replaced by Dragon Ball Z Kai, which cut some of the best parts of the show, with the only upside being the cut the filler, but that was pretty good too sometimes... CN really let me down after I'd devoted my entire life to their ideals of Cartoons and Anime for kids and teens.
G4 decided that keeping the worst gaming related shows was a good idea. XPlay sucks and Attack of the Show is now shitty and barely has anything to do with games. If I could take over the network, I'd bring the good stuff back and hang the current CEO by his balls if he has any.
Here's the moral for this guys, Blame not only the companies for the bad decisions, but also blame bad parenting. Bad parenting's the main reason why good entertainment is on a thin line. One parent probably complained that a cartoon papercut or a punch to the face was too gory or saying damn would make you bad, next thing you know, they cut off all the swearing and the good stuff.
So thanks for Bad Parenting and Censorship mostly.
Lani you're my kindred spirit, it really pisses me off whenever I think about how cartoon network took off good shows like Johnny Bravo and put up bullshit shows like Total Drama Island...wtf? I'm not sure if this even counts, but i used to look forward to watching Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell, and Bleach every Friday night on YTV...but now all there is is shit like Yu Gi And when my family and i FINALLY got better cable, i learned that Invader Zim had been taken off of Nickalodean! I mean, WTF! Btw, i luved shows like Johny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc...But Unfortunately Teletoon doesn't feature those anymore :( Haaah, i miss the 90s sometimes.
Lani, In all honesty, its probably a good thing they pulled Kenshin off of CN after the Shishio arc was done. If they made the Jinchuu arc in the anime instead of that on-the-fly crap, then cancelling the series would've been a capital offense. IMO they did us a favor by not airing the made-up arcs. And don't even get me started on Cartoon Network, man if you looked at it during 06-09 and compare it to 96-02 its like a different network.

@LittleFourStar I actually like the riding duels because it adds another element to the show. Instead of seeing stand around, you get to see high paced action and card games.
I hate cartoon network now, bad enough most of cartoon are just cracks and toliet jokes, they putting in live show and reality TV, in their prime time slot. I'm not sure if this even counts, but i used to look forward to watching Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell, and Bleach every Friday night on YTV...but now all there is is shit like Yu Gi And when my family and i FINALLY got better cable, i learned that Invader Zim had been taken off of Nickalodean! I mean, WTF! Btw, i luved shows like Johny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc...But Unfortunately Teletoon doesn't feature those anymore :( Haaah, i miss the 90s sometimes.

Lani, In all honesty, its probably a good thing they pulled Kenshin off of CN after the Shishio arc was done. If they made the Jinchuu arc in the anime instead of that on-the-fly crap, then cancelling the series would've been a capital offense. IMO they did us a favor by not airing the made-up arcs. They're terrible.

ANd for the record I unlike a lot of people liked the woman who replace Corey as the host of Cheat (for the life of me can't remember her name, it was Kirsten something wasn't it?) she was funny and did know her stuff when she talked about the games. About FOX, not much to say about it that hasn't already been said. And don't even get me started on Cartoon Network, man if you looked at it during 06-09 and compare it to 96-02 its like a different network.

I remember the horror I felt when I came home from school one day and went to watch some good old Toonami.. and I found nothing but stupid horny teenage highschool bullshit that no-one -really- gives two shits about.. no Teen Titans.. no more DBZ.. hell.. I'd have even been desperate enough to watch Ultimate Muscle!!

CN is going to hell in a handbasket now... not very many good shows on anymore, but they did bring Courage back, and Ben10 (not Alien Force or Ultimate Alien mind you) was pretty good.

i hope he realizes that what he thought were reasons why the cancelled the shows is wrong. tv shows dont get cancelled because of timeslots (directly) or because people like them or not (directly). its ok, he was young when he made this video lol

I hate cartoon network now, bad enough most of cartoon are just cracks and toliet jokes, they putting in live show and reality TV, in their prime time slot. I mean F******* Cartoon Network, why are putting live show, for a audience that want to see cartoons??? There are plenty of other channel they can put that stuff in.

@demecowen Yeah, nowadays Cartoon Network seems to hate anime that doesn't have "Pokemon" in the title. And I wouldn't mind so much if they had good American cartoons but most of the stuff they air nowadays is sh*t! Most of the good ol' cartoons have been moved to Boomerang, which is better than never seeing it again but WTF? Why not leave it on CN? It's not like they have anything better >_> CN, I am disappoint.

man i so freakin agree i miss seinfield that was a good sitcom. at least we have boomerang, but CN has gotten completely stupid. i also agree with Phantom. i actually predict with the increasing rise in anime they'll make a network where people can watch all kinds. classics like card captor sakura to todays naruto an host club. they should also offer subtitles for those that prefer the original japanese cast then english dubs. if i have to make this network myself i will i'll make millions.

Why did they get rid of all the good g4 shows and why the fuck do people still watch FOX and why is Jershey FUCKING Shore so fucking appealing in Chicago? And why didn't they ever bring any closure to Samurai Jack? It just ended in the middle of the series!
