I DESPISE Blanka! I am incapable of fighting a player who is marginally good with him; and by "good", I mean, 'knows how to charge and do the rolling attack'.
You guys are dumb. Blanka vs. Balrog is a HUGE mismatch for Blanka. Rog counters everything Blanka has. The way for Rog to fight Blanka IS to turtle up. This Blanka player is just that good that he was able to run all over this Rog player. Noticed that Blanka only used ball at the end of the round and after a knock down? He hopped back and forth over Rog while he was down to kill his charge. That way Rog couldn't punish ball with dash punch. Rog can punish ball on block AND on hit with a charge
@littlerain72401 well if the rog was actually good or smart then you would be perfected cause j. hk and mid to full range roundhouse both beat out electricity so the rog could get a free knockdown or a big damaging combo like j.hk, cr.lp, cr.lp, hvy headbutt into ultra 1 if they have it so there you are wrong.
@snitches2442 Uhh i have no idea what you said, but I mean on a computer street fighter game, I keep electrocuting. Balrog only will hit. Everytime he hits, he gets electricuated. Eventually, I win bcuz his health goes down. So yeah i'm right for the version IM playing. So, ha! xD
my main is blanka & i come across a lot of turtles online some just stay still like this guy or some just jump in the corner like they have crabs in their pants. i deal with them by crossing them up with the Backstep Roll, it works half the time or i do a light Beast Roll(i call it the bluff roll) then grab when your close...
i'm usually a rush blanka so i don't know why they turtle people must be afraid of blanka or something..

charge headbutt, go up back, not up forward and hold the back charge..then do the ultra motion with all 3 kick..every time i do it with punch it doesn't connect all the hits..but yeah, this works for me

I've watched a bunch of Japanese tournys with top level Boxer players, and they pretty much turtle up and play for a long drawn out battle with Blanka. I hate turtling, but against Blanka you have to. Rushing him down gets you last second Blanka Balled on jump, and shocked otherwise.

I play Blanka a lot too. I face a lot of turtling Balrogs (boxers). I hate them. It used to just be Guile players that did that years ago.
