@XingThePotomac Rontenn is on yutube trying to drum up business for PJ Proby by claiming he was bigger (or better) than Elvis. Then he argues with anyone who disagrees or just plain doesn't care. His main source of music industry info is Proby himself, who tells his supporters that his career was destroyed by conspirators - instead of admitting he was an irresponsible drunk who perpetually ignored the terms of his contracts.
@oldtowntonight Who is rontenn anyway? He showed up talking about his friend Proby doing demos for Elvis and claiming Ben Weisman liked Proby's demos better than Elvis' versions. Then he starts swinging at anybody who disagrees with him. Now he's telling us this isn't a Proby track. DUH! Like we didn't know it was an Elvis track all along and he was the one who was lost? What a dork!!!
@ReplayPusher PJ Proby's credibility hinges on people believing those two videos are his original demos (that Elvis "practically copied") and not covers he did after he heard the Elvis tracks. At UK gigs with an Elvis impersonator Proby advertises himself as the Elvis "demo man" back in the 60s.
Proby's promoters count on the public falling for his stupid tales about his Elvis connection and how the two grew up together singing in Houston bars -- 600 miles from Memphis!!?
Thumbs up Elvis fans !! I love Elvis, I love Elvis, I love Elvis .. x 1,000,000,000,000 plus infinity. Uh huh huh. Today I decided to design an Elvis T-shirt for me to wear this Summer .. what should it say on it though? :)

@rontenn PJ Proby and Glen Campbell were two of the singers Ben Weisman used to demo his songs for Elvis. Weisman never said his demo singers sang anything better than Elvis. He didn't name which songs Proby did either.
Acetate doesn't mean a demo disc for Elvis. It was cheap and used for promo discs sent to dj's including covers like those Proby recorded. The "Fun In Acapulco" & "Slowly But Surely" uploads you mentioned don't have pictures of the acetate demo discs. Why not?
@oldtowntonight To YOUR knowledge Ben didn't say this & he didn't say that! I repeat YOUR knowledge!!! There is a gaping great big gap in YOUR knowledge!! As for pictures of the demo discs with the YouTube Proby songs......ask the person who put the clip on here for the images! not me! I know the owners of these demo records & I've seen the discs! Once more, because you haven't seen the records you doubt they exist. They do & they are genuine!
@rontenn Sez you. The gaping big gap is between your ears. Why would anybody believe your unsubstantiated claims? Who are YOU? Do you think they're going to convert to some worn out old codger who's never been anything but a mimic?
@oldtowntonight Once again you are making yourself look ill-informed & frankly dumb! I'm not posting trash about Elvis.....I think he's great!! But when ignorant know-nothings like you come on here posting trash about P.J. I know enough to put you back in your place at the bottom of the pile! Proby-The world's first Elvis impersonator? !! ha!ha! Worn out old codger?! hee hee! I bet in your weird mind El would look the same now as he did in 1977! GET REAL!
There is an Australian Elvis fan club website that claims Glen Campbell did the demo for "Slowly But Surely". There are pictures on their site of Elvis and Glen together and they say EP Enterprises thinks Glen has the acetate. I don't believe you, them or anybody else on just their say-so. Especially when they're promoting somebody, which you obviously are.
@ReplayPusher That's fine.......you believe nothing & no-one! There was only one demo made by Ben of "Slowly but Surely" & it's a 100% fact it's P.J.Proby. Apart from the fact Ben told different people it was Proby any Proby fan can hear it in the song by the way he sings certain notes or pronounces certain words. I'm not promoting anyone, just stating facts! If you're so smart you should be able to tell us who YOU think it is singing the song! Mickey Mouse??
What song? I haven't seen or heard any demo. There's a YouTube video that's described as a demo. So what? There's no way to tell when or where it was made. It doesn't matter to me who's singing it. Your PJ Proby might have been a demo singer but he did a lot of covers. Your facts about Ben telling different people something or other is just you talking. I don't know you from a hole in the ground.
@ReplayPush.What song? you comment! The demo is the demo is the demo !! Doh! According to you every demo ever made for any singer could be a fake! Get real! As for a hole in the ground......I think that's where a retard like you came from & should go back to asap!! You're what's known as a "shit stirrer!" & basically of no importance! byeee!
@rontenn Saw the Proby guy on some Shindig clips and he was sure no Elvis. Looks like they packed the show audience with screaming girls but the way he moved I'd say he was playing to a niche male audience.
@rontenn Your would be mega star is some piece of work. When PJ Proby couldn't make it at home he invented an Elvis connection and skedaddled to England. He's never said anything good about EP and claims any southern boy with a country voice can sing like Elvis. Watch the video P.J. Proby: Interview on Elvis Presley. He says Elvis was just a product. Jerry Schilling said Elvis & the gang went to a club and Proby was on stage NOT that Elvis ever went anywhere to see Proby. Big difference.
@asyntopicon P.J.Proby was,is & always will be different! The Elvis connection is genuine but at the time he was Jimmy Smith NOT P.J.Proby!!! Anyone can sing like Elvis.....there are 1000's of impersonators around to prove it! Elvis saw P.J. at The Red Velvet Club in 1965.He did not go there especially to see him perform, that's common knowledge but he was so impressed he asked P.J. to repeat "Somewhere". Great compliment!
@rontenn Elvis impersonators can sound similar to Elvis if they do songs he's known for. But they can't do songs he didn't sing and convince everybody that it's an Elvis track. Nobody's making hit records impersonating Elvis.
If Elvis was just a product as PJ Proby claims so was Proby. At least Elvis sang in his own voice. He wasn't stupid like Proby who tried to mimic every singer who came down the pike. What was Proby doing at the Red Velvet in 1965? Name singers didn't gig there.
@asyntopicon Most Elvis fans accept P.J. as a great singer just behind their idol.I'm a Proby fan & put him just ahead!! Opinions!!!!! All of Proby's demos for Elvis are genuine.Ruth Batchelor & Ben Weisman confirmed this.P.J. did not do any Elvis demos for any other songwriters. All of the guests on the TV show "Shindig" went to The Red Velvet to relax, drink & sing. All of the big stars DID go there.Buffalo Springfield,Sonny & Cher,Righteous Bros,Everly's,etc.etc.
@rontenn Most Elvis fans don't have any opinion about PJ Proby. They don't know who he is. Easy for you to say so but where can everybody find those confirmations by Ruth Batchelor & Ben Weisman that the 2 youtube "demo" videos are the same demo recordings that were given to Elvis?
I didn't say who went to the Red Velvet. I said big stars didn't GIG there. If a name star sang there they did it as a freebie. The club didn't pay enough to book anybody well known.
@asyntopicon Wrong! Most fans do have an opinion about P.J., good or bad or indifferent ! I guess newer younger El fans don't know of him but mature fans do. I have connections with lots of Elvis fan clubs world wide & their fanzines & Proby often pops up. In fact sometimes it's my articles about him they print. I myself have been a huge fan of Elvis since 1961 but I also know Proby is equally as talented! Changing your story now about the Red Velvet I see!...typical!
@rontenn Reread my original comment about the Red Velvet. No change. You just can't read. I guess you're telling me that PJ Proby worked for scale in 1965. Not much of a star was he.
@asyntopicon P.J. was in the Red Velvet Club with pals after he appeared on Jack Good's "Shindig". Is that so difficult for you to understand?? He was onstage singing...Elvis liked what he heard!! Can't you get your head round that? A two year old could! Your original comment makes even less sense than your latest ones......all nonsense! Accept the facts!!
@rontenn So was PJ Proby working at the Red Velvet for scale or for nothing? Everybody else that was there from Shindig was just hanging out and having fun. At least that's what it says in that Elvis book you're reading. It also quotes Proby as saying "I've just received the biggest honor I could ever hope for--a personal request from Elvis Presley". Sounds like back then he thought Elvis was hot stuff and not just the product he calls him now.
@asyntopicon You are just twisting things around to suit yourself! I believe P.J. has got it spot on. Plenty of talent for Parker to choose from....he picked Elvis & made him a superstar. Could easily have been any other southern boy but El got lucky. Doesn't mean to say P.J. did not admire Elvis but he knew it could have been him or another young singer. He got his own big break in 1964 & for a while in the U.K. he was BIGGER than Elvis!
@rontenn Elvis is the king of rock and roll because he got lucky? Dream on. For a while in the UK PJ Proby was bigger than Elvis? He must have got lucky too then. When you narrow the playing field and time frame enough you can make Herman's Hermits look as big as the Beatles. So what? If PJ Proby ever had what it took to surpass Elvis or anybody else he lost it on the way to the liquor store. He was a professional sot when everybody else was on speed. His timing was way off.
@asyntopicon Every singer needs a break,Elvis got one when the Colonel spotted him.Without Parker he would have been nothing! Give Col.Parker Proby to manage & he would have been the KIng...but by now long in his coffin! Life is full of ups & downs!!
@rontenn Them's tha breaks! Always a bridesmaid, never the bride. So instead of going out and finding himself a first-rate manager PJ Proby's still fretting because Tom Parker didn't choose him over Elvis. Tut tut.
@asyntopicon Singers don't find managers!!!! Managers spot singers & groups & follow a hunch that they will make it big! Proby is not the type to fret over anything!
@rontenn Was that supposed to be a joke? Singers found managers all the time. You sent your resume, demo and picture to the managers you were interested in. They'd call you back if they were taking on clients and you were any good. Just waiting around for a manager to discover you is an excuse for being lazy. Elvis was doing the Louisiana Hayride circuit, had a record make the US pop chart, and already had a manager and plenty of regional visibility when Tom Parker courted him.
@rontenn Elvis and Parker made a good team but Parker wasn't the only manager around. Your way to get a manager doesn't jive with mine but if your right I guess no good ones spotted your friend Probey and thought he could make it big. Never heard of him!
@rangermission Parker spotted Elvis,Tommy Sands & Proby(Jimmy Smith) all at the same time. He took Elvis over from Bob Neal, signed Sands but Proby was a few years younger than those two so he did not sign him. If you've never heard of P.J.Proby then your musical knowledge is very limited!
@rontenn Never heard of your Jimmy Smith turned Proby but looked him up on youtube. Sure was a prissy dancer. Parker managed Sands for 2 years before he and Elvis hooked up. I don't think much of your knowledge either.
@rangermission Born in Texas as James Marcus Smith. Known as Jimmy Smith,Jett Powers, Orville Woods & finally P.J.Proby. When he starred in the award winning West End musical "Elvis" in 1977/78 he was billed as James Proby. When he wrote hits for Johnny Burnette,The Searchers etc he used his real name. His Great Grand Dad was the notorious outlaw John Wesley Harding which explains his wild ways!! Now go back to sleep!!!
@rontenn Don't know a John Wesley Harding. There was an outlaw named John Wesley Hardin who spent most of his life behind bars. When he got out somebody shot him in the back of the head. Not real bright.
Who taught your Proby/Smith how to dance like a girl?
@rangermission Once again your knowledge is limited. Some say Hardin, some say Harding...that's common knowledge.Related to Hardin(g) on his mama's side! J.W.shot in the BACK of the head by a coward, John Selman who later got his just come-uppance. Read Proby's story & he'll tell you what influenced him to dance a bit "camp"! who knows you may even become a fan!! LOL
@rontenn So I might be a fan if I read Proby's excuse for dancing like a girl? Wanna bet? If he thought he could dance that way and compete with other American singers back then he was nuts. Tom Parker wouldnt of looked at him twice.
You got no answer about the 2 years Parker was managing Sands before Elvis? Doesn't jive with your story does it?
@rangermission P.J. danced like that in 1964/65 to suit his image of pony tail, tight trousers & buckle shoes with added pirate shirt.Very camp & different. Many years earlier in Texas he was a rock 'n roll singer & that's when Parker spotted him. So Parker was managing Sands before Presley.....so what!? Nov. '55 was when E.P. switched To Parker. So '53 & '54 earlier is exactly when Sands & Proby started singing in Houston, Texas at various clubs & when El dated Proby's stepsister. Jives 100% !
@rontenn Hey, you said Parker spotted the 3 of them at the same time and signed Sands and Elvis. If you think that jives with managing Sands for 2 years before Elvis I can see why you'd think a sissy dancing guy like your Proby could be as big as Elvis. In your dreams.
PJ Proby boasts he's related to John Wesley Hardin? It's not unusual for westerners to have some relative who was an outlaw but few of them are dumb enough to use it to justify their own unhinged behavior.
@XingThePotomac With the right manager Proby would have been big in the 50's. As it is Jack Good discovered him in 1963 & for the next 3 years he was huge. He only got one gold record in his country of birth but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. In '64 & '65 he outsold Elvis in the U.K. & after The Beatles & The Stones was the hottest act around in the U.K. where it was all happening! If anyone is unhinged it's YOU!
@rontenn Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Too bad about that manager situation. Guess he had to leave the US to find an audience that could stomach his sissy dancing. Did he ever learn to dance like a guy? If he was the third hottest act in the UK we would have heard of him. We sure knew about everybody else who "was happening" over there.
@XingThePotomac You never heard of him...O.K. I accept that! You're on your lonesome ownsome! There's always one wobbly shopping trolley in every super market!!
@rontenn PJ Proby outsold Elvis in the UK in 64 & 65? If you mean sales figures, you don't have that information on Elvis. If you mean total weeks on the official UK singles charts, Elvis beat out Proby. In 64 & 65 Elvis had 8 singles making the Top 20 totaling 81 wks on the charts. Proby had 6 singles making the Top 20 totaling 55 wks on the charts.
If Proby was a hot act he cooled off fast because he never made the UK Top 20 again. Elvis had 27 UK Top 20 hit singles between 1966 and 1977.
@asyntopicon Outsold means sales figures,DOH! Add to that you have probably been consulting the wrong "official" UK singles chats for that period. There were about 4 different ones all claiming to be "official"!
Also add to this info that PJ's songs were all superior & real songs not some film ditties & old recordings from years gone by. They had to release the Elvis "oldies" because the other stuff he was doing was sub standard. P.J. was fresh, new & original. El was selling on his name alone.
@rontenn I see you're at it again. Always talking about sales figures and charts no one else has. If you have sales figures WHAT and WHERE are they? Where are YOUR charts and how do they differ?
Folks, rontenn is a PJ Proby promoter who's on youtube pretending to be just a Proby fan. His game plan is to out shout anyone with the facts about Proby's UK career in the 60's. Except for a ponytail Proby wasn't fresh or original. He was a mimic doing copycat covers of old show tunes and R&B hits.
@oldtowntonight Folks, this oldfarttonight is a fully fledged Proby hater & is at it again! I am not a Proby promoter(what is one of them??) I simply defend him as a fan & a friend from criticism not deserved given by a few twerps who do not know the true facts! (& are not interested in them anyway!)
@rontenn We'll take that as a no on Proby ever learning to dance like a guy. He's a mimic eh? Maybe he could get himself a white jumpsuit and become another ETA. A shame about that sissy dancing of his though.
Where's his pirate shirt and ponytail in his Ling Ting Tong video? He's got on a vest and no shirt. Was that something special he wore when he did his little hoppy dance routine? He was different alright! The look on that blonde's face at the end says it all.
@XingThePotomac I'd love to see you doing a dance as a guy!!! I'd throw up probably! Pirate shirt & ponytail was '64 & '65.He was a bit like Madonna, different music & different style every couple of years. Now I suggest you stop your so childish comments & get a life! I can't be bothered with you criticising jerks anymore!! This is not even a Proby track that's playing ! See ya! wouldn't wanna be ya! P.J. is the real King!
Rest in piss, Elvis, you no talent drug addicted, 75 pound turd producing stupid hillbilly. Hope the worms are enjoying your fatass rotting carcass! And take your fellow pedophile Michael Jackson to hell with you!!

I didn't say who went to the Red Velvet. I said big stars didn't GIG there. If a name star sang there they did it as a freebie. The club didn't pay enough to book anybody well known.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon Wrong! Most fans do have an opinion about P.J., good or bad or indifferent ! I guess newer younger El fans don't know of him but mature fans do. I have connections with lots of Elvis fan clubs world wide & their fanzines & Proby often pops up. In fact sometimes it's my articles about him they print. I myself have been a huge fan of Elvis since 1961 but I also know Proby is equally as talented! Changing your story now about the Red Velvet I see!...typical!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Reread my original comment about the Red Velvet. No change. You just can't read. I guess you're telling me that PJ Proby worked for scale in 1965. Not much of a star was he.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon P.J. was in the Red Velvet Club with pals after he appeared on Jack Good's "Shindig". Is that so difficult for you to understand?? He was onstage singing...Elvis liked what he heard!! Can't you get your head round that? A two year old could! Your original comment makes even less sense than your latest ones......all nonsense! Accept the facts!!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn So was PJ Proby working at the Red Velvet for scale or for nothing? Everybody else that was there from Shindig was just hanging out and having fun. At least that's what it says in that Elvis book you're reading. It also quotes Proby as saying "I've just received the biggest honor I could ever hope for--a personal request from Elvis Presley". Sounds like back then he thought Elvis was hot stuff and not just the product he calls him now.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon You are just twisting things around to suit yourself! I believe P.J. has got it spot on. Plenty of talent for Parker to choose from....he picked Elvis & made him a superstar. Could easily have been any other southern boy but El got lucky. Doesn't mean to say P.J. did not admire Elvis but he knew it could have been him or another young singer. He got his own big break in 1964 & for a while in the U.K. he was BIGGER than Elvis!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Elvis is the king of rock and roll because he got lucky? Dream on. For a while in the UK PJ Proby was bigger than Elvis? He must have got lucky too then. When you narrow the playing field and time frame enough you can make Herman's Hermits look as big as the Beatles. So what? If PJ Proby ever had what it took to surpass Elvis or anybody else he lost it on the way to the liquor store. He was a professional sot when everybody else was on speed. His timing was way off.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon Every singer needs a break,Elvis got one when the Colonel spotted him.Without Parker he would have been nothing! Give Col.Parker Proby to manage & he would have been the KIng...but by now long in his coffin! Life is full of ups & downs!!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Them's tha breaks! Always a bridesmaid, never the bride. So instead of going out and finding himself a first-rate manager PJ Proby's still fretting because Tom Parker didn't choose him over Elvis. Tut tut.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon Singers don't find managers!!!! Managers spot singers & groups & follow a hunch that they will make it big! Proby is not the type to fret over anything!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Was that supposed to be a joke? Singers found managers all the time. You sent your resume, demo and picture to the managers you were interested in. They'd call you back if they were taking on clients and you were any good. Just waiting around for a manager to discover you is an excuse for being lazy. Elvis was doing the Louisiana Hayride circuit, had a record make the US pop chart, and already had a manager and plenty of regional visibility when Tom Parker courted him.

@asyntopicon WHATEVER!!! by the way you are the joke!!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Elvis and Parker made a good team but Parker wasn't the only manager around. Your way to get a manager doesn't jive with mine but if your right I guess no good ones spotted your friend Probey and thought he could make it big. Never heard of him!
rangermission 11 months ago
@rangermission Parker spotted Elvis,Tommy Sands & Proby(Jimmy Smith) all at the same time. He took Elvis over from Bob Neal, signed Sands but Proby was a few years younger than those two so he did not sign him. If you've never heard of P.J.Proby then your musical knowledge is very limited!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Never heard of your Jimmy Smith turned Proby but looked him up on youtube. Sure was a prissy dancer. Parker managed Sands for 2 years before he and Elvis hooked up. I don't think much of your knowledge either.
rangermission 11 months ago
@rangermission Born in Texas as James Marcus Smith. Known as Jimmy Smith,Jett Powers, Orville Woods & finally P.J.Proby. When he starred in the award winning West End musical "Elvis" in 1977/78 he was billed as James Proby. When he wrote hits for Johnny Burnette,The Searchers etc he used his real name. His Great Grand Dad was the notorious outlaw John Wesley Harding which explains his wild ways!! Now go back to sleep!!!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Don't know a John Wesley Harding. There was an outlaw named John Wesley Hardin who spent most of his life behind bars. When he got out somebody shot him in the back of the head. Not real bright.
Who taught your Proby/Smith how to dance like a girl?
rangermission 11 months ago
@rangermission Once again your knowledge is limited. Some say Hardin, some say Harding...that's common knowledge.Related to Hardin(g) on his mama's side! J.W.shot in the BACK of the head by a coward, John Selman who later got his just come-uppance. Read Proby's story & he'll tell you what influenced him to dance a bit "camp"! who knows you may even become a fan!! LOL
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn So I might be a fan if I read Proby's excuse for dancing like a girl? Wanna bet? If he thought he could dance that way and compete with other American singers back then he was nuts. Tom Parker wouldnt of looked at him twice.
You got no answer about the 2 years Parker was managing Sands before Elvis? Doesn't jive with your story does it?
rangermission 11 months ago
@rangermission P.J. danced like that in 1964/65 to suit his image of pony tail, tight trousers & buckle shoes with added pirate shirt.Very camp & different. Many years earlier in Texas he was a rock 'n roll singer & that's when Parker spotted him. So Parker was managing Sands before Presley.....so what!? Nov. '55 was when E.P. switched To Parker. So '53 & '54 earlier is exactly when Sands & Proby started singing in Houston, Texas at various clubs & when El dated Proby's stepsister. Jives 100% !
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Hey, you said Parker spotted the 3 of them at the same time and signed Sands and Elvis. If you think that jives with managing Sands for 2 years before Elvis I can see why you'd think a sissy dancing guy like your Proby could be as big as Elvis. In your dreams.
PJ Proby boasts he's related to John Wesley Hardin? It's not unusual for westerners to have some relative who was an outlaw but few of them are dumb enough to use it to justify their own unhinged behavior.
XingThePotomac 11 months ago
@XingThePotomac With the right manager Proby would have been big in the 50's. As it is Jack Good discovered him in 1963 & for the next 3 years he was huge. He only got one gold record in his country of birth but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. In '64 & '65 he outsold Elvis in the U.K. & after The Beatles & The Stones was the hottest act around in the U.K. where it was all happening! If anyone is unhinged it's YOU!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Too bad about that manager situation. Guess he had to leave the US to find an audience that could stomach his sissy dancing. Did he ever learn to dance like a guy? If he was the third hottest act in the UK we would have heard of him. We sure knew about everybody else who "was happening" over there.
XingThePotomac 11 months ago
@XingThePotomac You never heard of him...O.K. I accept that! You're on your lonesome ownsome! There's always one wobbly shopping trolley in every super market!!
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn PJ Proby outsold Elvis in the UK in 64 & 65? If you mean sales figures, you don't have that information on Elvis. If you mean total weeks on the official UK singles charts, Elvis beat out Proby. In 64 & 65 Elvis had 8 singles making the Top 20 totaling 81 wks on the charts. Proby had 6 singles making the Top 20 totaling 55 wks on the charts.
If Proby was a hot act he cooled off fast because he never made the UK Top 20 again. Elvis had 27 UK Top 20 hit singles between 1966 and 1977.
asyntopicon 11 months ago
@asyntopicon Outsold means sales figures,DOH! Add to that you have probably been consulting the wrong "official" UK singles chats for that period. There were about 4 different ones all claiming to be "official"!
Also add to this info that PJ's songs were all superior & real songs not some film ditties & old recordings from years gone by. They had to release the Elvis "oldies" because the other stuff he was doing was sub standard. P.J. was fresh, new & original. El was selling on his name alone.
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn I see you're at it again. Always talking about sales figures and charts no one else has. If you have sales figures WHAT and WHERE are they? Where are YOUR charts and how do they differ?
Folks, rontenn is a PJ Proby promoter who's on youtube pretending to be just a Proby fan. His game plan is to out shout anyone with the facts about Proby's UK career in the 60's. Except for a ponytail Proby wasn't fresh or original. He was a mimic doing copycat covers of old show tunes and R&B hits.
oldtowntonight 11 months ago
@oldtowntonight Folks, this oldfarttonight is a fully fledged Proby hater & is at it again! I am not a Proby promoter(what is one of them??) I simply defend him as a fan & a friend from criticism not deserved given by a few twerps who do not know the true facts! (& are not interested in them anyway!)
rontenn 11 months ago
@rontenn We'll take that as a no on Proby ever learning to dance like a guy. He's a mimic eh? Maybe he could get himself a white jumpsuit and become another ETA. A shame about that sissy dancing of his though.
Where's his pirate shirt and ponytail in his Ling Ting Tong video? He's got on a vest and no shirt. Was that something special he wore when he did his little hoppy dance routine? He was different alright! The look on that blonde's face at the end says it all.
XingThePotomac 11 months ago
@XingThePotomac I'd love to see you doing a dance as a guy!!! I'd throw up probably! Pirate shirt & ponytail was '64 & '65.He was a bit like Madonna, different music & different style every couple of years. Now I suggest you stop your so childish comments & get a life! I can't be bothered with you criticising jerks anymore!! This is not even a Proby track that's playing ! See ya! wouldn't wanna be ya! P.J. is the real King!
