My husband, Jeff (Concerts in Your Home) sent me this video the other day...it has been one of the most beautiful and loving gifts he has ever given me...this is a deeply moving song...and Ellis' delivery made me weep. I saw her at pridefest in mankato on saturday and i fell in love with her personality and voice instantly. Her music is so touching.. i tear up almost every time i hear it :p

She defines a spiritual kindness beyond words. I saw he in Sister's Oregon and was at a complete loss of words spellbound by her performance from one song to the next. Truly a magic moment in the archives of my many musical experiences. If you haven't seen her perform make it one of your lifes goals.

Ellis is one of the best musicians I've ever heard/seen perform. Her performances are absolutely amazing - she is such a hilarious, endearing, wonderful, and caring performer. If you ever have the chance to see her live, you should absolutely go. I've seen her twice, and both times she made me feel like I should just - I don't know how to put it - be a better person, I guess.
Reading over that, it seems like it's praise to the point of satire, but actually, she is just THAT awesome.
what a beautiful song and spirit, and singer... reminds me of my studies in Paris, the beautiful city of light and the intimate moments i would have in these beautiful locations. How did you make the video look so 70s?
