b00 LithiumOS (see my channel for a clip of) vs 4DGL: no font scaling - but various blending modes (XOR/ADD/alpha/null/solid), cute buttons, alpha cursor, full set of GUI elements all fully-interactive from the very beginning :P Also easy VisualBasic-styled event rigging for ASM sources.
There is no size comparason in the video. There needs to be something next to it that we can use as a guide to the size, like a ruler, or a box of matches, a finger...
It could be the size of a hand for all I can tell. -.-
So do you have to water it?

he gave a size comparison in the description 128 by 128 pixels. little larger then a quarter

Yes, I saw that before I posted.
128 pixels? Over what distance? One metre?
Pixels have nothing to do with size. Why do you think they have "pixel per square inch" and "pixel per square centimetre" ratios?

You can see a small breadbord (seems a mini one) just behind the display...

It says 1.5" in the description now. :)
(*Wonders if it was there before* :O)

Is the tearing on the screen from the camera that took the image? or from the hardware itself ie. slow vertical refresh?

Is that a parallax Stamp board controlling that display ?
zember311 4 years ago
Yes it is. It's a Board Of Education (BOE) with a BS2p processor. The demo will run on any of the Basic Stamp modules. DufferSteve
