  • Um, I just love the blinking Nabaztag in the background. lol I finally gave mine away because it just blinked orange all day, every day. Booo.

  • what's that mouse at 0:06

  • @Aerolseventh logitech g700 i have one :3

  • This is NOT gyroscopic. It is gimballed, but not gyroscopic.

  • @BPinard You know what? You're absolutely right about that. Thanks!

  • My question is - how does the bowl handle being thrown across the room into a wall? Does it stay upright and tidy then?

Plus most chocolate pudding contains no chocolate. It'll be chocolate flavoured rubbish.

  • Almost worthless.

  • Ok, first of all, pudding is gonna stay in the bowl for a while whether or not it's gyroscopic. Try something that could actually spill.

Secondly, you gave chocolate pudding to your dog? Christ.

  • Seen them advertise this on tv... honestly thought it was meant for retards.

  • Gyrobowl I wonder how a rum and coke would handle in it????!!!!

  • is this the soundtrack from DOOM?

  • Dogs that size can easily handle the amounts of theobromine in that amount of chocolate pudding. Everyone chill. Hell, dogs that size can have the occasional snack of chocolate, although like someone before me said it's not a good idea because then they'll get a taste for it and possibly poison themselves by making it more than an occasional snack.

  • @Tronlet While this is true so is the fact that a human being can handle small tolerance of strychnine... but it is absurd to even try to apply this logic... it really is a bad choice on the part of the advertisers since this is technically animal cruelty as the animal is unaware he is actually being poisoned by the pets trusted owner... bet he'd do the same thing with a bowl of antifreeze though the outcome would be different... it just looks irresponsible regardless if the dog lives afterward.

  • @premiertremere Um, no. If that's poison, then you can call anything poison. The dog is big enough that it would take forty times that amount of pudding to cause any unwanted effects. At that point it's no longer poison any more than caffeine is for humans. Harmless in small quantities.

Dark chocolate has 14 g of theobromine per kg, and when it's processed down to milk and others it has barely 2 g. A dog weighing about this much would have to eat half a kilo of milk chocolate to get poisoned-

  • @premiertremere -at all, and when it's processed again down to something as weak in theobromine as chocolate pudding, it's simply harmless unless the dog is eating nothing but the pudding, in which case there's other things to worry about than theobromine.

Strychnine on the other hand is far more poisonous and is just a silly comparison.

The dog is not being poisoned whatsoever and any effects left the body after approx 72 hours due to theobromine having a half-life of 17.5 hours, it's okay.

  • my dog died from eating chocolate, b careful

  • @sleepydude9 how much did he eat?

  • besides the pudding being given to the dog ( not really the point of the video guys =_=; )

the bowl is so kick ass, I think I'm gonna give one to my little nephew soon :D

  • In other news... what song is this exactly? By Speedsound yeah but what is the name? Any help? And yes, chocolate... bad for dogs, blah blah blah... We all know it, but ppl do get over it. Seriously, it's not healthy to feed them grapes/raisins either; it can shut down their kidneys. Least they didn't do that and I am sure they don't feed the dogs chocolate on a regular basis either. Get over it and get back to oohing and aahing at the amazing unspilla-bowl.

  • Inertia can still spill it I think

  • @fubungamer While I agree this amount of chocolate isn't greatly dangerous to a dog this size, and that that chocolate pudding likely contains a meager amount of theobromine (the poison in question), it's still a bad idea to give a dog chocolate, as the dog then develops a taste for the chocolate and will look for more. A dog that has had chocolate before is more likely to overdose as it searches it out in the home.

    In general, be smart. Don't.

  • did he just give his dog CHOCOLATE pudding???

  • Its that BPA free?

  • Someone should warn these people that chocolate is poisionous to dogs......

  • @ashtonsmama020206 Yeah, I was going to say.

  • you know chocolate gives dogs heart attacks right?

  • @fubungamer how would you like it if you had to eat "just a little" but of aluminum. it would not be very pleasant but i would not kill you

  • Umm.... is'nt it DUMB giving a dog chocolate? its just like someone would say "Sure we cant eat cyanide without dying but we only took a little..." its.... dumb idt that dog would die of that but he wont have a good nigth... It will probably poop in its sleep and puke all over the place... But still COOL...umm.... snack bowl?

  • @fubungamer That's like saying "It's okay, he's allergic to nuts, but he only had a little bit." No amount of chocolate is ever "okay" to give a dog, only "less harmful". Even a teaspoon of milk chocolate given to a 50-point dog can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, or vomiting. It won't kill him, but neither will it make a happy doggy. It's just better off not doing it, ever. I'm really disappoitned in Thinkgeek for this video.

  • does it come with the pudding too... xD

  • That is terrifying. You should NEVER, EVER feed chocolate to a dog.

  • you really shouldn't feed your dog chocolate.

  • Sugar and fat filled chocolate isn't dangerous to dogs, you tools.

If you feed a dog several bars of >70% cocoa solid chocolate, yes, it will become ill.

Don't post shit you have no idea about.

  • @maganashi Actually, ALL chocolate contains theobromine, which is the chemical that's toxic to dogs (and cats). Milk chocolate contains about 50-60mg/oz, which means a toxic dose would be about one ounce of chocolate to one pound of body weight. It sounds like a lot, but that means that even a couple of ounces are enough to cause stomach upset and discomfort for an average (20-30 pound) dog. So why do it? It's just not worth it.

  • You do realize dogs are allergic to chocolate.. -.-

  • MOST dogs are allergic to chocolate, just like MOST people are allergic to poison ivy...there are exceptions to both rules though.

  • @desolateexistance its not really an allergy, its the caffeine (well, theobromine) that speeds up their heart and kills them

  • umm...pudding doesn't spill out of a normal bowl even when you flip it upside down. how about you show us something spill-able like cereal?

  • Great invention... but why feed puding to a dog?

  • @demontoarch BECAUSE DOGS FUCKING LOVE IT. DID YOU NOT SEE THAT FACE??

  • dog killer

  • im sure you won't feed your dog chocolate again.

  • @NLpowerballing its only bad for dogs when its not cooked so most chocolates are fine for them

  • mee wantin your dog

  • why are you feeding dog's chocolate? go fk your dumb toddler bowl.

  • It would take a hell of a lot more than one cup of pudding to even have any kind of effect on a dog of that size..stop freaking out.

  • AMEN. read my replies to the retards that posted before you. how can people believe everything they hear? does anyone do their own research anymore?

  • yeah chocolate to a dog i know it was said already i just wanted you to see a new comment and feel like an idiot that you give your DOG human food never mind CHOCOLATE ...ass!

  • heavily processed chocolates do not contain nearly enough theobromine to harm pets.. the only thing that is truly a threat is large quantities of unsweetened bakers chocolate or straight cocoa beans. do your research before assuming :)

  • @xmxcubedxmx That isn't true at all. A lot depends on the size of the animal in question - so much as a handful of hershey's kisses could kill a small dog like a chihuahua. It's true that the darker the chocolate, the more potential for harm - but anything that has cocoa in it has theobromine in it, and could potentially hurt a cat or a dog. Check with a vet before giving people bad advice.

  • @cattieloves i totally agree with you there in regard to the size of dog in this matter. almost all of the chocolates that we consume as delicacy are extremely diluted and most name brands attempt to "pasteurize" their products to rid them of t-bromine. This information i am giving you was straight from the Vets mouth, i should have included the size of the dog in my previous comment. a handful of Hershey kisses to my chihuahua would be like a cinder block size of chocolate to my lab.

  • LOL about as toxic as a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds is... heavily processed chocolates do not contain nearly enough theobromine to harm pets.. the only thing that is truly a threat is large quantities of unsweetened bakers chocolate or straight cocoa beans. do your research before assuming :)

  • @fuckyougeorgebush ...... they are just dogs.. its not like they're humans..... god!

  • Hey, remember when people used to comment on the things that videos were about, not non relevant off topics?

Just saying, that bowl wouldn't handle soup very well.

  • if your going feed it human food at all. pull out the 270win mag and shoot the fuckin thing its a dog not a human

  • *generic previously said dog remark*

seriously though, that bowl is so clever.

  • yeah assholes who say dogs die from chocolate, the point of the video is the bowl. And that small amount of chocolate wont harm a dog.

  • That's an awesome bowl!

Also for the tards below, I'm sure that the creator of the video probably knows that the dog would be harmed if it ate chocolate. Perhaps he knows what he's doing?

  • u a hole the dog can die

  • Do any of you people commenting even OWN a dog? I've had mine steal and eat an entire basket of Easter chocolate and he was just fine. I'm sure if you gave your dog an excessive amount of chocolate on a regular basis it would be bad, but that little bit of pudding isn't going to do anything.

  • @KateMunster11 Not just on a regular basis. depending on the size of the dog that basket could have been fatal. And yes I own a dog, one that DID almost die from chocolate. And for people who dont know, when your dog eats chocolate youre supposed to give it hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting.

  • TARD!!! DOGS DIE FROM CHOCOLATE!!!

  • Dude! chocolate is poison for dogs you know!!!!

  • im sure this has been said before, but i'm pretty sure chocolate isnt good for dogs.

  • yo, i think you have a voicemail. might want to check that.

  • I didn't know if you guys knew this but in this video there is a really kick ass bowl...

  • Dogs eat poop. I'm sure a bit of pudding won't kill him.

  • Most chocolate is not really bad for dogs, unless you give them a big barrel full of it or something. It's concentrated chocolates like baker's chocolate you can't give them.

  • this is definitely not a true statement. All chocolate is bad for dogs, because there is a chemical in the Cacao bean from which chocolate is created toxic to dogs. If they get a hold of, say, a bit of milk chocolate or in this case, pudding, I wouldn't worry about lethality but it's definitely not "not bad" for them.

  • Not really bad.

  • lol relax people. that shit is not even real chocolate, just manufactured to taste that way

  • makes me want to slap some pudding on my ass..... oops forget I said that out loud lol

  • a dog that size would need way more chocolate than that. calm down.

  • Stumbled Upon -- Stockon, CA. :D

    Cool bowl!

  • me too

  • Stumbled too. (:

  • there is like .01% xantheose in that choco pudding.. the dog is at no harm of dying just from that.. the sugar and other artificial crap that's in it aren't good for it tho... but srsly calm down ppl -_-

    2) That little chocolate won't hurt him for shit.

  • Ha. Classic "mother" instincts. What a great example of women doing what they do best; being stupid.....I say the more chocolate the better.

  • ...and I say you are a raging homosexual who takes it balls deep in his severely chafed asshole.

  • chocolate kills your dog.

  • xD chocolate doesnt really harm dogs idiots, large amounts can(then again our dog ate a pound and was fine). Artificial chocolate pudding wont do shit, fuck all of you.

  • fancartman2,

You are right, one of my dogs got on dining room table one easter when i was young and ate a 5 pound solid chocolate rabbit. He was fine. and this was only a 40 pound dog. funny thing is we put candy on higher counter that didnt have chairs around it next year and he got em again, this time eating 2, 5 pound chocolate bunnies. still he was ok, lived to be 15 and died eating steak.

  • doesnt chocolate kill dogs?

  • Good idea. I wonder how it holds up to the common flinging motion I've seen toddlers use on their bowls of food..

  • Seriously, you gave your dog chocolate pudding? Wow, somebody definitely took the time and energy to research how to properly care for their pet.

    But not you, you suck.

  • Comment removed

  • @bapkate realistically its not chocolate. Its pudding. Simply powder and water. Chocolate flavoring can be added for your desired taste, or vanilla for example.

  • Is that a freaking dreancast box in the back??? Awesome!!!

  • If your dog can't handle chocolate it should die. Who gives a damn its not your dog so complain to peta, its about the bowl

  • Theobromine is just really hard on their systems, so it's a bad idea in general. The term is theobromine poisoning. So, while I'll admit that the bowl is pretty cool, if you're gonna put chocolate pudding in it, don't feed it to the dog.

  • But then his dog won't die. Spoil sport.

  • my dog ate chocolate all the time, and she was 13 before ever dying.

anyway, the bowl seems cool, but will it stay closed when the toddler actually throws it?

  • give your dogs more chocolate its good for them

  • you should sell that you would get millions

  • um well its a pit bulll i guess a lil choclate would do no harm also nice bowl

  • o yes... that is very smart, give your dog chocolate so he can get worms? brilliant.. if i may say so myself...

  • You should never give a dog chocolate pudding! They will get very sick and maybe die.

Not very smart. Geeks are supposed to be smart, and clearly, you're not!

  • When I was a kid we had a min pin that ate 1/2 lb chocolate bunny, he didn't even throw up! This bowl rocks , I bought one for my DD and 2 for christmas gifts:)

  • what is the name of the song playing in the background?

  • holy shit dont give your dog chocolate it can kill them

  • Wow, did you just try and murder your dog?

  • You'd probably get more chocolate in a Big Mac than in most of those supermarket 'tastes chocolatey' pots of goop.

  • hey look a klein bottle!

  • BIG BEAUTIFUL PIT BULL!!

  • its mainly dark choclate that will be bad for dogs

  • Ancient technology makes a revival, gimbals were used in ink holders to keep from spilling

  • Are you going to get that message on your phone??? LOL

  • Dog included?

  • 2. So, a *bit* of chocolate would probably do no harm, in a dog bigger than a chihuaha. The trouble is, when did a dog ever settle for a *bit* of anything, once they've had a taste? You don't want to come home to find Mr. Muffikins dead on the kitchen floor after having scarfed all the baking squares.

  • 1. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is what's dangerous to dogs. It's poisonous to humans, too; but we can't eat enough chocolate to get a dangerous dose. (Chocoholics: No, you really can't.)

So it depends on the size of the dog, the amount of chocolate they eat, and what kind of chocolate it is. Pudding and candy is not too dangerous, as they are at least as much suger as chocolate. Cocoa powder and baking chocolate are the most dangerous.

  • I gave my dog chocolate last May and he died, I don't think there's as much chocolate in that pudding but still. You're dog might end up dead like mine.

Mind if I post a video response of the tribute video I made for my dog after he died?

  • I too thought you should not give dogs chocolate. I once did that when I was a child, and the dog ran around in circles at full speed for abou
