there is an easier way...just take the silver part off and turn it like you would with it still on and lift it move it back over and the turn it again and keep doing that. i make the lighter burn out in one use doing that lol burnt my hand too...

does this not work with the colored bics? i've seen vids of people doing this but its always with those clear ones...mines just a regular blue bic and i took the metal shield off but theres no gear or anything to turn...

yeah it dosent work with the bic lighters they dont have an adjuster also another tip if your going to buy a cheep lighter dont buy one that is worth about 50 cents they dont work properly
