I think people should think about it when they say Koharu isn't fit to be in Morning Musume. I'm not saying she's real good at singing, but I'm sure there's inprovement in her, a high pitched voice doesn't equal to a terrible one. Anyway, she is the most popular solo singer in 2006~2007, and there has to be a reason to that. Is her singing is that bad, nobody would have bought her singles at all.

Yeah, but the 'little kids' who bought her singles didn't get exactly get them for her singing. Koharu is a great idol with talent, but sometimes it feels like she doesn't fit in well with MM. That is not to say she isn't talented at all, she is, just not as a singer.

oh, question. i've been wondering about this for a while now. how come aika's not as popular as risako from berryz? people keep saying risako can't sing (which i don't agree with; she just doesn't have that cutesy idol voice) and that she is so popular because she is more developed than the others. isn't aika the same?

Berryz Koubo's leader is Risako, and it is also a rather popular group, it'll be weird if she's not popular. while aika isn't really the spotlight og MM, Ai, Reina, GakiKame are the soptlight there. and aika doesn't have something extra special. Sayumi has a cute image, Koharu's energetic, Ai has a great voice, etc. while aika doesn't.

actually I think Aika is cuter than Koharu. I know Aika isn't a 'looker' like Kusumi but I do think she is extremely cute with a good body image and personality and very mature for her age. She seems like she could be a future leader of musume but she doesn't strike me as the type to stay around like ai. She seems smart... I just like her more. I do like Koharu still.

Of course. Every time you go on stage to perform it's an act. And that can make you nervous and you start to "over-smile". And your actions look a bit slower or awkward because you're constantly thinking about "Is this what I'm supposed to be doing? Does this look right?". Although I do feel that Koha should be more comfortable on stage singing live than she looks and Aika looks very very nervous since she is singing live. They both are extremely cute singing together!!!

I think that Mistui's smile affects her singing and makes her voice rough when she smiles. I think that she should lower the smiles a bit. Even though I like her better than Koharu. Koharu is always going to be the girl who is beautiful and people are just attracted to her. Also Koharu has lot's of confidence, therefore Tsunku puts her in front. Since morning musume is not as good as before so he puts the ones loved most by fans in front.

In fact, every single Koharu video I go to (and I have been to alot) there are 80% haters there, and the other 20% don't defend her at all. I don't feel like Mitsui has improved much at all. I was watching her in the Bon Ku Bon Ku Bomb concert and it's almost like she's afraid to sing powerfully. She definitely messed up her line in Kanashimi Twilight. She's better in this concert than she is the Bomb concert which is sad since she should have improved not gotten worse.

She's hardly been singing live. You can also tell with any new member that they're afraid to make a mistake or seem inferior to everyone. Look at the other new member videos. Basically I'm saying that she's much better than Koharu and her voice can beat hers, and in the Bon Kyu concert, they were jumping around and dancing. Here, they're standing. Anyone's voice can get affected by tiredness.
