Good cover. I have respect for your Father. But in all honesty there is no pride what so ever in wearing that jacket, noor is there that your Father was in the Vietnam war. I'm not sure if you know much on the war, because i'm sure if you did. You'd realise that that is nothing to be proud of to wear that jacket. No offence intended..

This is so sad. God bless your father. Nothing breaks my heart more than a son with out his father. I know how it feels. Nothing gets me crying more than thinking about what could've been if I had my father... But i love my mother so much that I get over it. lol. Great piano playing btw!!!!

I came across this as I was checking out other versions.

I liked your heartfelt introduction to the song and your pride in your Dad's contribution to this song. My dad was a young officer in another war/another time. He only told us the funny stories about his experience - History books tell you the other stuff.

Well that's my comment on the history of soldiering. My comment on your version of the song is 'Well done!' The piano makes a change. Judging by the other comments you made us think!
