Perhaps practicing playing uncharted 2 before playing this for the gaming world to see would have been a good idea. That almost ruined the presentation... Taking your time figuring out the controls and struggling to do the simplest things. People practice to do things like practice lines for a play, practice acting for a movie. @NTom92 Actually if you bothered to actually research you'd find out that the xbox has a dedicated custom ATI GPU while the PS3 uses an RSX processor. The xbox's GPU is capable of 80 shader operations per second while the PS3 is capable of 74.8, the PS3 is able to achieve a higher pixel fill rate but the xbox 360 is has double the theoretical triangles per second value. These stats arent supposed to show a winner, they just prove how even the consoles are in terms of graphics performance.

@azorulz You think u are smart, and it is true that 360 has a better GPU alone, but if you bothered to do any research you would also know that the PS3 CPU is far superior to the 360 CPU. In this way, the PS3's CPU is able to "help" the GPU and when they work together it surpasses the 360, because the 360 GPU works alone. You have to remember that the PS3 Cell processor is extremely powerfull for a console, and was proven to power a supercomputer called ROADRUNNER.

@NTom92 its true that the PS3's CPU system has a much larger floating point performance value than the xbox 360, but the problem is functionality. The SPE's the PS3 has would be great were they not incredibly hard to program for, in fact they remain practically unused in MOST ps3 games unfortunately. Game developers prefer to develop for xbox 360 than ps3 because of the simplicity of the xenon processor, and then port it to PS3 without optimizing it.

@azorulz Its not that they are hard to program for, they are more complicated than 360, but thats because 360 is just basic. The SPE's are unused because of the 360 limits. Developers are not willing to put in the work that could make the PS3 versions easily look better, which is a shame. Fortunately, PS3 exclusives show what its capable of, and developers do take advantage of that. Bioware however did improve the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.

So there are two things each console has that make a difference and they make Live and PSN equals. And the friends system is fine, its easy to use, just under the friends icon no problems at all. I don't understand how or what u mean by cluttered, because the XMB is a very simple but stylish interface.

Nothing is holding the PS3 back. As for games catalog, PS3 and 360 are the same aside from their exclusives.
