just to let you know the numebr hsould be swiched because 1 should always be on the right (not that it really matters and what i this made on because i would really like to tell my friends but i really like it overall
im not saying that this is wrong but i have one question..... players 5 and 4 have to be always covered becouse there is less chance to scor a goal from a corner and there is block from players that cover 2 and 3,,,, right ????
Anyway you guys shouldn't keep saying 'this is wrong' or 'there are lots of mistakes in this video', obviously everyone has their own style of playing and coaches also coach differently.
We play a form where when the pass gets to 1 or 6, they move down to inside 2 metres (instead of walking in and shooting). When 1 gets the ball, he moves inside, 2 pulls slightly out and to the centre of the goal, 3 also moves inside 2 metres, and 6 pulls out and slightly to the left. 4 and 5 will offset. Vice versa for when 6 gets the ball.
I think this is a good form, since moving into a 'wave' formation makes it really easy to pass. Plus, it makes all players have a good angle at the goal.
@melzarmine when the 6 gets the ball, his defender will move to the post then out to him. there is a moment when the 3-5 defender is too far away from the 3 and the 3-6 defender is occupied and out of position when the 3 can pop into the gap between the 6 and 5 and take a shot.
if you can get the ball to the two and three without a whole bunch of defenders on them to shoot that is the best possibility. But usually they are being heavily guarded so the shooters usually have to be the outside players
beacuse it gives them a chance to practice their shooting and feeling for goal, and the moving in of the middle outsider or whatever it's called in English lol (croatian- srednji vanjski , bek) is almost never sucessful , it can work if the player guarding the left outsider is very slow and low quality at all. anyway nice vid, you don't have a chance to see vids like this much on youtube. btw trust me about this I've been playing waterpolo for 7 years now. Trust me... I'm Croat haha
some corrections... it is never recomended to pass from one wing to another (in this vid 1-6, 6-1) the 4 to 2 or 5 to 3 passes and then goals afterwards are actually some of the most beatiful and fired up goals you can achive but you have to have the feeling to pass in the right time. the defense is completly not right but hey if someone plays it like that enjoy to take goals from all positions. the 3-3 is almost never used in senior selections but it's a very good play for younger generations
finally (3-3) the two players guarding 2 3 4 of the offence never leave 3 alone because they never follow 2 and 4 so far away from the goall as portrayed in the video
4 and 5 (the correct numbers are 3 and 2) can take a pass to 2 and 3(correct 5.6)respectively...also wrong about the defense...the defender of number 2 (5)goes immediately to mumber 3(6) when the ball goes to number 4(3)...believe me i m not here to judge but there are too many common mistakes new players should not do...
on the 3-3 he says 2 defenders should cover 3 offenders.. AGREED BUT then he says when the left top has the ball the defenders should be like one on top left one on mid couse an ball that travels much is easyer to intercept (prove me wrong)so always try to force your oponent to make a long pass..(if u can)
Any player can shoot and should remain a threat. The 2 and 3 positions are both very strong shooting positions, however they are not the only ones. Situationally, any position could be an exceptional shooter. What you learned was 1 play (both normally and in reverse). There are many other plays for the 6 on 5, including positioning for the best shots for 1 and 6.

you've made a slight mistake, 1 is the right winger, 2 is the right back (in this video 5) etc..
4 is 3, 1 is 4
2 and 3 are 5 and 6...

we run 3-3 and drive from the 2 spot up top once the ball is at 6 spot. the guy driving from 2 gets pass from 6 and scores

i was taught that only 2&3 shoot. 1,4,5,6 all pass. but 5 pass's to 2 and 6 pass's to 3 when they want to shoot.
