I have this camera and it takes shocking pictures. My camera gives off a red hint to everything and makes my brown hair appear almost burgundy.

I have to confirm that i'm not a big fan of this camera. I just got back from a friend's wedding this weekend and I'm comparing all the pics i took (with this camera) and the pics my friends took. Bottom line, this camera looks cool and people were impressed with basically how it looked (the touch screen, the sleekness, etc.) However it takes AWFUL pictures. The quality is horrible. I would never recommend this camera. Most of the pics I take turn out very blurry. Never will i buy a Sony again.

Before even watching this video, I'm just going to say that I've had this camera for a year now and it's a pretty cool camera but the majority of my photos are blurry..... i'm hoping that this video shows me something that i'm missing. My friend has a Canon and it takes AWESOME CRISP CLEAN pictures

You got something wrong, it isn't "confirm an option", those are what those options do.

That can be turned off by touching the question mark in the top left corner at the home menu

Yup.

The camera has great quality pictures.

There aren't stupid blurs or and unsatisfactory pictures.

The way it looks in the screen is the way you will get the picture.

I HATE touch screen devices. The touch sencitivity always degrades over time, and you always seem to touch the screen at the WORST time, and that delays your shot. I say AVOID touch screens when possible.

Actually - it IS a touch sensitive screen on this Sony cybershot. A touch screen is a screen that you can touch to control the device. This camera is a touch screen, and I have had unbelievably BAD results with the durability of touch screen devices. They do not hold up, and overall - they are not reliable. That goes for phones, cameras, computer monitors, etc.

Brought mine in a rush at Duty Free......and have regrets. Not great for late night shots......and the smile feature really slows the camera down. Great for outdoors........but its not people friendly in groups and nights.........Its a bridesmaid of camera and wish my old olympus did not break down. Due to real hard wear. Thank you so much for the review. Gave me a few more options. Be careful about buying cameras at Duty Free on the spur of the moment.

I've got the same cam in black and I can tell you that it has one. You can retouch pictures, you can crop images to remove unwanted parts, or remove red eyes or you can ad some effects and because of the touchscreen you can also paint something on your pictures. But this is not so serious, it's more for fascinating other people.

If you got the money, buy the T200 because it has the better zoom (5x instead of 3x). And I own a T70 and I have to use very often the digital zoom which is not so good for the quality of the pictures. So buy the T200.

hi i have bought this from a website but havent been provided with a power cod and i have with a adaptor so can i still charger this camera in the uk? if yes how can i do this?

First check the voltage rating on the back of the charger - if it says 110-220v then it will work on any voltage around the world. If this is the case, all you need is the right power cord with a UK mains plug on one end, and probably the figure-8 plug on the other. These are very common and if you don't already have one on your stereo or DVD player, they're cheap to buy. Take it to a shop in the UK like Maplins to be sure.

hey monkeypink if i were you i'd gofor the T70 its got much more to offer, then the w80 w90 and the canon 870 is unless your a person thats taking more proffesional pictures and don't care about the touch screen. The t70 takes about 270 pictures but the w80 and w90 take about 350 but 270 isnt bad for a touchscreen plus its got much more features. go to sonystyle dot com

I've noticed that when you toch the screen it creates a blackish part that comes up around it like when you touch an LCD monitor it does that or like putting a magnent near it. Is that normal and is it good for the camera? Ive noticed it dosnt do that with the T200

Do you mean can you zoom-in on photos after you've taken them for a closer look? If so, then yes you can. But this is something you can do on all digital cameras...
