If you have never heard of Shelden williams then your not up to spped with your college hoops! In my opinion he is a top 3 big man in duke history with Christian Leatner and Elton Brand! Shelden was nicnamed the "landlord" for a reason....trust me

Rick Barry, Larry Bird. There is plenty of room for a set shooter in the NBA. Shelden Williams was a beast, he's too small to play in the NBA though.

The guys you listed were guards seen as too small but their athletic styles of play helped them succeed. Shelden plays like Shaq, grind it out, bang for everything, and I just don't think he can make a huge impact doing that at 6'9. Having said that I think Shelden deserves a shot. Looking at the stats I think Shelden could be a good 15 and 10 guy. His PPG is pretty good considering his lack of minutes in games. So I guess I just might be wrong about his size, I truly hope I am.
