You do know that a very large amount of dirt eroded out the canyon according to your theory so, why is the colorado river delta in the gulf of California not a BILLION times bigger than it is?

The delta is there, it is on top spreading plates. The river cut the canyon and 6 million years of dirt are at the delta.

Then another 5000 feet of rock was laid down, some wind blown desert sands, some corals. Then the whole area was raised to 8000 feet ASL. Then the canyon was cut. How long do you think this took?

The terrain north of the Grand Canyon is a basin whose average elevation is around 1300ft. The rim of the grand canyon at its highest point is over 2000ft. How did the water from the Colorado River reach an elevation of over 2000ft, if its starting point was below 1300ft. ?

Sahelanthropus Tchadensis, Orrorin Tugenesis, Australopithecus Anamensis, Kenyathropus Platyops, Australopithecus Afarensis, Lucy, etc.
There are literally hundreds and hundreds of different hominid fossils.
