I was hoping you were gonna say something about Crown Royal, as it is by far my favorite whiskey to date, but oh well. I'm by no means knowledgeable about whiskeys, having only dared to play around with smooth Canadians and Americans so far (carefully trying some Scotch nowadays, but it's not being gentle with me, hehe), so it would be fun to see if you had some hints as to where I could go from there :)
I have been watching your whiskey reviews for a week or two now and I must say that although I started not knowing virtually anything about whiskey, the big picture is starting to come together. Your descriptions are fact-based and clear, and it is a pleasure to listen and follow along as you taste the various whiskeys. Thank you for sharing your expertise--I respect it very much.
Canadian whiskey is good for whiskey enemas, but I am not a whiskey snob and blended American and Scotch whiskey falls pretty much into the same category for the most part. SOME of them you will have to mix coffee into the blend in order to tolerate the stuffing into the old keester.
Now that you are "established" in the whisky world with your knowledge and expertise. Why don't you take a crack at producing your own malt? Its nice to see that you are sharing your knowledge with the world, but it would be interesting to see what you would come up with. You obviously have a pretty good client base (those who follow your reviews). Why not run with it? I would certainly purchase it. That would be quite an experience to remember.
There's a place in Halifax that sells whiskey cake made with Glen Bretton Whiskey...it is absolutely delicious...These are all good canadian Whiskey's but, being from Canada, my favorite Canadian Whiskey is Gibsons would love to see you do a review of any of the Whiskey's Gibsons has to offer.
Thank you very much for the Canadian reviews. I just discovered your channel and am greatly appreciative of your advice and reviews as I'm a newcomer to the magical world of whisky. I'm Canadian so I'm trying to specialize my whisky education to my home country out of loyalty and also because it's almost always half as expensive as any other kind of whisky here.
Gibsons 12 year old, Crown Royal Limited Edition, Wisers Smallbatch and Deluxe, Alberta Premium and Alberta Springs are my favorite Canadian Whiskeys. Nice.
every one knows it lol! you can get it anywere pretty much it would be well not lame to review it but all of theys but the canadain club are you either have to live in canada or be close to the border state side to get some of not any of them
Hey Ralfy; Thans for another great upload video. I have been meaning to ask you for months, what is that black thing in the lower left with all the silver dots on it? It is on the shelf in the background and has been driving me crazy. lol.
Simply put I think you reviewed all Canada's garbage ! Ha ha no but really if you want Canada's best it's century reserve by a mile. Cheers !

@mariusroyal I absolutely understand your discretion, Ralfy, but it would awesome if you came out with your own single malt!

... from John Lamond, Master of Malt
Wiser's was bought by Highwood distillers in Calgary. No-one seems sure
where this is now distilled, Highwood may have bought big stocks from the
old Hiram Walker set up before Allied was split up.

Enjoying your Canadians. The 43.4% abv for Wiser's is historical because
most spirits in the past on sale in the States were sold at 86.8 Proof
(43.4%abv) and Wiser's was/is sold in Canada & the States.
You state that Seagram's VO is distilled in Ontario, it is now distilled in
Quebec at Valleyfield distillery following the reak up of Seagram's.
