They give a lower resoloution for the 3DS also because it's a COMPLETELY different gameplay/story/cutscenes for the most part. And they wont take all that time just to make the same game for the wii but in low resolution. They earn money buy people buying the game idiot

@JordUK I disagree with your entire statement, IMO Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the ultimate of the classic series fallowed by Sonic CD & Sonic 2 tied. As for modern Sonic, I choose Sonic Adventure the only game you get to be a true 3d Tails.. Shadow, Rogue, and confining Tails to the Tornado 2 was all terrible. Although I did think it was nifty to play as Robotnik, I think it woulda been more fun if you would have had a fully hovering egg mobile. This one is pretty good too.

As for Shadow, I was quite young so I was a bit like "Shadow's pretty cool" but even then I was angry at Sonic Team for putting him in Sonic Heroes (or even for making that game).

I'm working to be a game artist for the industry and (even though it's unlikely) I'm scared I'd have to work on a Sonic game that I could tell was going to be awful :(

ive had enough of this game its just fucking crap. ive s ranked everything. , the game is good if your just plodding through the stage but if you want a blitzed boost through levels quickly and smoothly you will run into brick wall. all the flaws. sonic modern when has his 2d parts when you boost and land on a slope sonic turns opposite direction, and sometimes boosts off into pit . unless you have s ranked 100% u cant say shit to me. looks fantastic but controls like always are shit
