well, it's my belief that high profile title matches are "Referee Desecration" where the Ref will let a lot slide as oppose to a RAW title defense...so it's pretty much borderline No DQ...just my 2 cents worth =)

During the Attitude era, most main event matches on PPV's automatically had "NO DQ" rules applied to them for some reason... they just fell into transition of the main events back then and it was quite amazing because back then, you would expect every main event match to be out of control, just like this.

What a classic match this was. Everyone is talking about HBK's courage wrestling w/ the bad back, but lets not 4get SCSA had not too long come back from the neck injury he suffered from that botched Owen Hart piledriver @ Summerslam 97 which he would wrestle w/ for basicallt another 2 years (until Nov. 99). Both of these guys were nothing less than warriors.
