  • you should probably slow down when you talk

  • it makes some sort of plate, not a tube here, wierd .. :)

  • @panadesu sounds like you are hitting revolve instead of extrude. either that or your extrude settings are set up in a funny way.

  • @HarryCaray3000 oh this is kinda embarrasing xD Thanks.

  • When I select my circle and curve and hit extrude, I get a tornado/funnel, not what you get.

  • thanks

  • Awesome. Thanks heaps for this one. Great stuff!

  • I was trying to follow this tutorial but I couldn't. You weren't zoomed in enough for me to understand where you were clicking and you spoke too fast, along with your accent, it isn't easy for us Americans to tell what you're saying.

Thank you for the try however.

  • Great tutorial =). So many possibilities now with extruding and NURBs. Cheers.

  • thanks mate for the tut. Im doing 3D and visual FX - I have some videos on my channel

  • Nice! Big UPS!

  • @rhettlarue:

check your "keep faces together" option, it looks like you have it disabled.

  • your good ! :)

  • Edit Mesh---keep faces together

  • hey this is great, thank you----I was having trouble extruding, when I drag, the faces grow separately making a tire-track look instead of a blended surface. Do you know why this might be happening for me?

    Thanks

  • Really sorry man I have no idea. If you ever figure it out let me know.

  • Check your Normals.

  • @rhettlarue If i understood correctlu then u r talking abt this " while extruding more than 1 faces all the face go randomly instead of as we r willing to do it " then d solution is go to edit mesh-click keep faces together. let me know if i understood u corectly

  • @bled2nouralive Thanks so much i was having the same issue

  • You have got "keep faces togethere" unchecked in the attribute editor. Double click on extrude. But I'm preaty shure that You have worked it all out already.

  • @rhettlarue

there is an option under extrude called keep faces together.

  • @rhettlarue

If you are still wondering there is an option called keep faces together in extrude.

  • @rhettlarue Maybe this will help Edit mesh>Keep faces together.

  • For some reason when I loft the 2 isoparms it doesn't come out as a perfect pipe between the two...

  • Try clearing the history and then try the loft.

  • thank you so much! I haven't been able to make a pipe this easily until your tutorial!!
